Nos complace saber que disfrutó de la hermosa vista y de los lugares ideales para tomar fotografías. Es un placer para nosotros proporcionar experiencias visuales memorables.

First off Andres was an incredible tour guide. Very personable, knowledgeable and eager to be of service. Spoke English better than me lol and Spanish for our mixed party. Andres recommended some great food spots that we hit up as well. Javier made signing and arranging the tour easy and carefree, even though we booked just 1 day in advance.. Arranged for multiple pickups and off we went. Great trip with young kids, some challenging climbs but not too bad. The scenery is well worth the effort. Lunch at the lake was delicious. Highly recommend!!

It was an amazing trip, it had it all. Scenery on the drive up there, Wilson showing me the town of Giron, his excellent knowledge of the flora and fauna and everything in between.

My sister and I were in Cuenca for a few days visiting our dad. We are so glad we booked to see the Waterfall! It was beautiful, fun! Our guide Eddie was very knowledgeable and fun to hang out with. He shared many things about Ecuador and was a great way to see more of the country!! I highly recommend this! We only did the half day and it still was great!! Thank you Eddie!!

Con mi pareja cogimos el tour privado de medio día, nos retiraron de nuestro hotel 8.30am y estuvimos de regreso 13.30pm. Una opción perfecta para quienes vienen por poco tiempo y quieren conocer otros atractivos. La laguna de busa fue por mucho mi favorita, pero el chorro de Girón no se quedó atrás. Nuestro guía Genaro fue súper puntual y atento, demuestra mucho conocimiento y su carisma hizo nuestro tour bastante placentero. Definitivamente volveremos por otro tour!

We had an awesome day at Giron Waterfall and Busa Lake with Enrique. We had considered taking the bus from Cuenca, but we are so glad we took the tour. There were many beautiful places and things we would have missed out on.
Enrique is an excellent driver and has a very nice, new car. He is a wealth of knowledge about the area and the native plants and animals. We had an amazing lunch with grilled trout near the waterfall at a really great rustic restaurant. This is a tour everyone visiting Cuenca should not miss!

We had a great tour with Sebastian! He was friendly and very knowledgeable about Ecuador's history and the places we visited. It was really interesting to learn about Ecuador's battles with Peru and to see the actual table where the treaty was signed.
Sebastian was a careful driver. We also appreciated his flexibility. He went above and beyond to save the tour when it became obvious that the road to Giron was closed due to a landslide. The road crew was able to open a detour after a slight delay so we were able to continue on our tour.
Our walk around Busa Lake was nice and we saw a woman cutting grass for her guinea pigs so Sebastian explained how the locals raise and care for their guinea pigs. The lunch at the restaurant near the lake was quite good as well.
Sebastian had many good things to say about Cuenca Bestours and we definitely agree. Javier was very helpful arranging this tour and our upcoming tour for us.
We already have another tour scheduled with this company (Cuenca to Quito) and look forward to it.

With just a week left, I inquired for a customized two-day trip. Response was quick, friendly and adequate. Despite the involvement of two guides and a driver, everything went flawless. I wanted to make some long hikes near Cuenca (Giron Waterfalls and Las Cajas) followed by a transfer to Guayaquil. Both guides were hiking experts, both experienced and very friendly. Same for the driver. Next time I’ll be using Cuenca Bestours again.

We had a fantastic tour with Wilson! He was extremely knowledgeable, patient, generous and fun! We learned a lot about the area, the different customs and traditions in the towns and then had an amazing time jumping into the waterfall of Giron and walking around the gorgeous Busa lake. The drive alone is worth it, gorgeous views. Highly recommend!!!

My guide Sebastian picked me up right on time at 8:30 at my front door for a full-day tour of Giron Waterfall and Busa Lake. While driving toward the small town of Giron he filled me in on the history of the area and the significance of the hills and valley during historic battles. We stopped at a monument celebrating the success of Ecuadorans over an invading army.
Once in the town of Giron we were so lucky to find a celebration parade in progress on this beautiful December day. Horses were decorated and laden with foods to be shared later by everyone in a local park, bands marched and many people were dressed in traditional clothing. It was a very colorful and celebratory affair.
Sebastian continued our tour, driving to the Chorro Waterfall not far from the town. He explained about parks, public and private, in Ecuador, and the community spirit that goes into maintaining them for everyone to enjoy. The trail up to the beautiful waterfall – such a high one and in three distinct falls - was a bit muddy with rocks here and there so I was glad for my hiking boots, although plenty of visitors wore sneakers. At the falls I captured a picture of a rainbow while looking down into the pool at the base of the lower fall where people were swimming.
Sebastian then drove us up and up to Laguna Busa, a source for the waterfall we had just left. Every question I could think of he was able to answer and provide amplifying background. His stories were far beyond my expectations for this tour! The gentle walk around the lake we followed with a delicious lunch at one of the lake-side restaurants and the drive back down the mountain. I must say Sebastian is a very good driver. Through all of the twisty roads I always felt safe.
The entire tour took 6 ½ hours door to door, and I was happy with every minute of it. I highly recommend this tour and Bestours where Javier made trip planning and preparation a breeze.
