This was a great trip. Andres was a wonderful guide, shared a lot about Ecuador’s history and culture. The waterfall was beautiful! Overall a great day

The first location, Giron falls was great. The second location, Busa Lake was not worth the drive. Apparently it's only really used on weekends. When we arrived on the Monday there was construction happening all through the parking lot (it was hard to get through to actually park) and honestly there was not really much of anything to see aside from a very small lake. We were there for a total of about 10 minutes.
The driver was not the best -- he spent a considerable amount of time texting on his mobile phone while driving through mountain roads. He was also VERY interested in my female companion but barely said a word to me (a male). Not to the point of being creepy but not far off. In previous tours I have had drivers that were full of knowledge and seeming to enjoy telling you this information. This driver honestly seemed like he had other things to do. At one point he at least actually pulled over to take a phone call for a few minutes.
I wouldn't do this trip again.

We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed the Giron Falls; however, we sincerely apologize that your visit to Busa Lake did not meet your expectations. Please note that the tour you booked is a half-day excursion, and as stated in the voucher, we only conduct a brief visit to Busa Lake.
We are particularly concerned about your feedback regarding the driver’s behavior. The safety and comfort of our guests are our top priorities. Wilson has been with us for over 10 years, and this is the first complaint we have received of this nature. We will address your concerns with our team to ensure that such issues do not occur in the future.
Your feedback is invaluable to us as it helps improve our services. If you decide to visit Cuenca again, we would welcome the opportunity to provide you with a significantly improved experience.

Absolutely a must-do tour! Booked a private family tour for 6, pick up was friendly and prompt. Bilingual guide Adrian was engaging, attentive, very knowledgeable, and dedicated to an individualized memorable experience. Pictures and memories will last forever!

We had a great day with Adrian. He took great care of us, passed along a lot of great information, and got us safely from place to place.
The tour itself was awesome. Both the waterfall and the lake were amazing, but just spending a day seeing the Ecuadorian countryside was the real highlight. It’s one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen.
If you have a chance, spend a day with Adrian on this tour. You won’t regret it.

Our tour guide Andres was great, our driver Steven was very good and we had a wonderful time exploring the waterfalls in Chorros Giron and Chardelay. They were both informative, helpful, flexible and provided excellent information. I definitely recommend agency for Cuenca and any other areas of Ecuador. Javier the tour operator made all this possible so a big thank you to hi. As well!

I loved being picked up at our hotel!
The drive to the waterfall included the best scenery I saw in Ecuador. The wind generated by the waterfall was so powerful it made it hard to stand up!
Luis gave us an option to ride the cable bike or walk the suspension bridge. We went with his recommendation of riding the bike. It was spectacular. Not for the weak of heart!

The whole experience, from the planning, the pickup, and the actual tour went flawlessly. Luis, our guide, was a font of information and knowledge about the fauna, flora, local history, customs, traditions, etc. While the actual sites were worth the visit, the drive, there and back, offered stunning vistas of mountains, landscapes and fields.

We, a group of 6 people, feel that a positive review is the least that we can do for the Cuenca Bestours company and its travel planner and tour guide Javier Vallejo, with whom we had the pleasure to work on our travel plans. Javier showed patience and knowledge that resulted in an excellent itinerary for exploring Ecuador. He also advised us about the best accommodations that he was able to arrange at very competitive prices.
It was very unfortunate that just when our plans were finalized and all reservations made, the security situation in Ecuador took a sharp turn to the worse due to the drugs related violence. With the US State Department issuing very troubling travel advisories, we decided that exploring Ecuador in these conditions will not be enjoyable, if not just outright dangerous. Javier showed total understanding and, while probably being disappointed, showed nothing but grace and efficiency in promptly arranging refunds of our deposits.
We hope to come back to our plans of visiting Ecuador as soon as the security situation in the country will return to normalcy, and will certainly do it with Javier.
If you too are interested in visiting Ecuador, we can’t recommend a better agent.

Stunningly beautiful verdant valleys. A welcome escape from Cuenca. Few tourists go to this area, but do yourself a favor and book this excursion.

Cuenca Best Tours has arranged my tour on my request. The arrangement was very easy and Best Tours provided recommendations how to be appropriate ready for the adventure. They recommendation was very helpful. The guide was also provided by them. His name is Sebastian. An incredible guide and a person with very worm and open personality who got great knowledge of his country, very attentive to his client needs. I have had a wonderful time traveling with Sebastian. I greatly appreciate his time with me and I will highly recommend to use this travel company for private travel in Cuenca as well in the rest of Ecuador.
I must acknowledge Elizabeth, she was absolutely wonderful and very attentive to my WhatsApp messages and made a few additional tours arrangements.
I like to thank her for all her job in helping me with my Ecuador adventure. I will definitely use their service in the future.
