Amazing Trip!

What an incredible trip! Our guide, Nico, was super friendly and helpful, making the experience even more meaningful and enjoyable. The whole team was very knowledgeable, accommodating to individual needs, and wonderful to spend time with. Thanks for a great trip!

A great experience

Unbelievable trip, made even better by our incredible guide and team. It's hard to put into words how meaningful and stunning the Inca trail was to hike. Every few hours we were exploring a new ecosystem and learning all about the history of the Incas.

Our guide, Nico Tito, was so knowledgeable and in tune with each part of the hike, it felt like we didn't miss out on anything when we watched other tour groups walk on past.

The chef, Javier, made some of the tastiest dishes I have ever had, and seemed to conjure them out of nowhere. I don't often eat that well at restaurants and he managed to make it all while we camped.

The porters, Rodrigo, Pedro, Melchor, Wilson, Raul, Mario, and Lino all worked so hard and we always arrived to tents set up, and everything ready. They made the hiking easy and it felt like we were always traveling in luxury.

I was also proud to have toured with Tierra Vidas as it felt like the guide, chef, and porters were truly being valued for the work that they do and taken care of.

I could not recommend this company our tour enough.

Trip Of A Lifetime

This was a trip of a lifetime. Pamela and Judith were so helpful with the administrative aspect and all the planning questions we had.
Our chef Javier and his su chef were incredible, and provided gourmet restaurant quality meals on our four day trek.
Our team of porters, including Rodrigo, Pedro, Melchor, Wilson, Raul, Mario, and Lino made camp feel homey and took exceptional care at all the camps. We would not have been able to do it without them.
Our guide Nico was incredible. His knowledge of cultural history, plants, animals, and general knowledge was engaging and informative. We also really appreciated the respect he had for the area and how he led us our group.

I will be recommending Tierras Vivas to any all of my friends and family that want to do these type of tours.

Thank you to our team for creating and being a part of this memorable experience for us.

Trip of a lifetime

Nico, our guide, was absolutely amazing. He was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and encouraging—from start to finish!

The food was fantastic, thanks to our chef, Javier. Not only did the food fuel our active days, but it all tasted delicious! He even accommodated my dairy sensitivity. 🥹

And of course, the real hero’s, the porters! Without them, I wouldn’t have been able to complete the hike. They carried all the gear needed to eat, sleep, and be merry. All I had to carry was my water, some snacks, and a change of clothes—I am forever grateful. Thank you! 🙏

Tierra’s Vivas is a superb organization, I can’t recommend them enough. They truly care about you and their staff. They’re in the business of creating unforgettable experiences—and they excel at it!

Best Trip Ever!

We had the best time ever doing the Inca Trail with our tour guide Sara, Jésus, and team! Sara was a great tour guide giving us cool facts about the fauna, flora, and landmarks around us. The food we received for breakfast, lunch, and dinner was beyond our expectations, everything was prepared beautifully and was delicious. Thank you for making the experience unforgettable for us!

Fantastic trek with amazing guide and support team

This was an amazing experience. Can't say enough good things about Nico, our AMAZING guide, the friendly and supportive team of porters, and the talented chefs -- the food was outstanding and accomodations were very well set up/organized. Nico knew how to handle every step of the trek, and he was kind, so knowledgeable, and overall so good at what he does. Transportation and communication was also really good. The trek was challenging but completely doable and a once in a lifetime experience!

Nico was an incredible guide and the whole team helped us to achieve our dream of hiking the Inca Trail. Nico made every day magical and his knowledge of the area was invaluable. The Inca Trail is difficult physically but the whole team cheered for us, fed us, and made sure we were safe. It was the trip and experience of a lifetime. I am grateful to Nico for his leadership and compassion.

Hike the Inca Trail with a gifted storyteller

The Inca Trail trek to Machu Picchu was fabulous! The hiking was (good) hard, the food was amazing, the staff was so supportive— it was truly an experience to remember. If you want to go with an incredible guide—Nico is amazing. He is so knowledgeable about the sites and In an history. He also tells great stories over happy hour popcorn and hot chocolate. He met each one of us exactly where we were. The staff were great in preparations and also on the trail. I highly recommend this experience to those who are ready for a challenge and exciting adventure!

Excellent tour!

I had an excellent time on the trail! Our guide, Nico, was amazing - very knowledgeable about the history, culture, flora, and fauna on the trail. I had some health difficulties on the trail and Nico made sure I was safe, adjusted plans, and made sure I still had an excellent trip. The food on the trail was excellent thanks to our chef, Javier and his assistant, and they were able to provide vegan meals. Very thankful to the whole team!!
