Julito (Julio Crispin) nos acompaño en esta increible experiencia. Fui en septiembre de 2019 con mi novia, su hermana y su novio. Todo el viaje fue magico, la bajada en bici desde el Abra Malaga, la caminata por el qapac nan, las comidas tradicionales y finalmente Machu Picchu, que simplemente te quita la respiracion. La simpatia del guia y la gente del lugar, los hospedajes, las comidas... no podria haber soñado una experiencia mejor.

WHAT AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!!!
We completed the 4 day Jungle Adventure trek with our tour guide Vidal, I cannot thank Vidal enough for his caring nature and the wealth of knowledge he provided us.
It was truly an incredible experience, we saw some incredible landscapes and were educated Peru's culture and history. Vidal happily and insightfully answered all of my questions (there were many) about different fruits/animals etc. we'd see along our trek as well as ensuring we were always safe and aware of our surroundings. I honestly find it difficult to pick a favourite part of the jungle adventure as I had an absolute blast each and every day, but I can say the downhill bike riding was EPIC (!!!!!) and I really loved the ziplining too.
Thank you so much for such an incredible experience Vidal, I cannot recommend you highly enough!

An action-packed and adventure-filled four days! We had a amazing time and would highly recommend this trek to adventure-seekers.
We weren’t sure if we wanted do the full trail, and when we found this tour we were really excited by the variety of activities and that it includes the comforts of a shower and a bed after each day. We are relatively fit people and didn’t have any issues doing any of the activities, but the full day hike isn’t necessarily easy.
Willy is a great guide and we would definitely recommend him.
He has a good sense of humor and kept us engaged, teaching us a lot about native plants and animals and the Incan empire. Along the route, there were little things that added to our experience because Willy is well-connected with people who live in the towns/villages (like getting fresh fruits before beginning the full day hike, or surprising us by arranging for one of the hotels to place flower petals on our bed and provide champagne since we are newlyweds). He also stopped us to point out good spots for taking pictures and took photos for us, which we might not have done ourselves, so now we have amazing pictures to remember our trip by.
Our biggest tip is to just use DEET (along with long sleeves and pants); we usually use a natural bug repellent (Burt’s bees), but the mosquitos in the jungle can only be deterred by DEET. We’d also recommend bringing along extra undergarments (socks, etc.); we packed light but there wasn’t really enough time for clothes to dry and no laundry facilities until the last night (that’s part of the adventure!). Also pack hand sanitizer and a roll of toilet paper.
Other activity specific recommendations:
- Rafting: use the wetsuit and shoes offered since the water is pretty cold
- Hiking: DEET is your friend.
- Zip lining: do the fun poses (upside down, “condor”) when they let you! Amazing views and super fun.

Got back yesterday from 4 activity-filled days in the Sacred Valley, and couldn't be happier! Our guide, Percy, knew the region like the back of his hand -- we even stopped for lunch outside Machu Picchu pueblo at his parent's restaurant -- and had everything perfectly organized for us each day. Every night we'd be instructed on what to expect the following day, and during each activity he provided expert knowledge on the history, culture, environment, etc to ensure we left our trip with a 360-degree understanding of Inca life.

Just finished the Jungle Adventure with Vidal and wow what an experience. Vidal was an amazing tour guide who was with us every step of the way able to answer any questions as well as provide us with some valuable insight into the past and present culture of Peru.
Vidal’s knowledge and relationship with the vendors gave us a real authentic feel and experience of Peru. The bike riding was one of the most amazing things I have ever done in my life. The walks provided amazing scenery and the zip lining was an experience in itself!
Cannot recommend Vidal highly enough!

Wow! What an amazing trip. Our guide, Vidal, was extremely knowledgeable, accommodating, fun and definitely experienced (this was his 600+ Bamba trip!). Every activity was uniquely exciting and so much fun. The Hiking was exhilarating as we traversed mountains, jungles and rivers, with tons of local experiences that added to the overall experience. Macchu Piccu was, needless to say, incredible and the journey there was equally as amazing. Organized, well thought out and so much fun! Thanks Bamba!
(The “rustic guest houses” are quite rustic so be prepared to rough it a little bit but not too bad. And there is no such thing as too much bug spray!!!)

Had a fantastic adventure from Cusco to machu piccu! Chino was the ultimate guide and all of the different activities were challenging and rewarding.

This was the most incredible trip I’ve had. The itinerary is planned and executed very well; we never had any issues with buses, hotels, food, or tickets along the way.
What made the trip special was our guide, Vidal. He knew when to push us physically and also when to take it slow during the hike. He incorporated culture and history at each opportunity. His knowledge of Picchu is unmatched. I will never forget him playing a Peruvian flute as hiked the Inka trail.

We went on the 4 day 3 night machu pichu hike. This trip was the best adventure I have ever been on. All activities were extremely well planned and had varying levels of difficulty. The indigenous food was delicious on the trip. Our trips highlight was our tour guide Chino. He was extremely knowledgeable funny and patient with our group. He helped us get through all the challenges with the ease.

How long and difficult is the hike?

There are two relatively long hikes. The first and tougher of the two is about 8 hours of hiking and moderately difficult at times but never felt insurmountable. There were several portions that we hiked about a 35 degree angle for 10-15 minutes but it was manageable. The 2nd hike is completely flat and only about 4 hours. You don't need to be in amazing shape but reasonable fitness is definitely recommended.

Hi,
Is there anywhere to store 20kg suitcases rather than paying for 3 nights accommodation in Cusco to store them? We’ll be carrying our backpacks but don’t know if there would be anywhere for the rest of our luggage to be kept while we’re on the hike for the 4 days/3 nights.

We asked this question before we did the hike and there isn't, just bring what you can carry and store the luggage in Cusco. Most hostels / hotels will do this for you for free anyway
