Great experience, I recommend!

This Trek is stunning but the views to the summits are breathtaking (when we have some left). Inkayni Tour to everything well organized, the staff was very punctual and knew how to answer our questions with responsiveness. Our Guide, Ernesto, was great. He advised us and shared his culture with passion. Our cook, Erminio, has prepared us excellent typical dishes, well balanced and hearty enough to face the mountains. We spent 5 exceptional days!

Great Trek, Greater Guide - Paul

Trekking to Machu Picchu is a once in a lifetime experience that I would to repeat.

Our guide Paul was incredible. He cracked jokes, taught us some Peruvian mountain and Incan culture and took good care of us. He is incredibly fit due to being born in the mountains and having hiked these trails for the past 20 years. I cannot recommend him enough.

Mr Nezerio and Mr Wilbert cooked up great authentic Peruvian mountain meals in tiny kitchens. We loved every meal and I had to ask for recipes.

Mr Victor and wife took good care of the mules which carried our night bags and tents.

We hiked through high altitude mountain steppe, cloud forests and rainforest. Which allowed us to see a wide array of wildlife

I would recommend this adventure to anyone who is fit and not faint of heart

A once-in-a-lifetime experience that I would love to do over and over.

With incredible views and an even more amazing team, especially our guide Paul Cano, I have not a single complaint.

The trek had the perfect balance of challenging and rewarding moments, making each day a unique and unforgettable experience. Our guide was exceptionally knowledgable, supportive, and managed to push us all out of our comfort zones to experience things we would have never imagined.

All of the food, made by Chef Mr Nazascio and his helper, Mr Wilbert were delicious and authentic Peruvian cuisine.

Mr Viktor and his wife were also fantastic at handling our bags and taking care of the group when we did not feel well.

Machu Picchu is genuinely one of the most beautiful and intriguing places on earth. The tour was also very well organised. Would 100% recommend.

Mind blowing experience

Honestly a life-changing experience, beautiful and challenging treks through the mountains, with every day feeling like a distinct biome. Paul was a fantastic guide, imparting his wisdom and keeping us in high spirits throughout the journey. The chefs Nazascio and Wilbert made us unique Peruvian dishes every day at camp that were honestly delicious. I will say it's challenging, so not for the faint of heart!

Beautiful trek with the best guide we could wish for!

We booked a private 5 Day Salkantay Trekking including Machu Picchu with Inkayni Peru based on all the positive reviews and we were certainly not disappointed!
Everything was arranged and communicated perfectly on forehand thanks to Lisseth!
Two days before the trek we received a text message from our guide Saul for the briefing and as soon as he visited us in our Hotel in Cusco we could tell that he is a very enthusiastic guide! During the trek Saul proved to be the best guide we could have wished for! He was super friendly, enthusiastic, and always concerned with how we were doing. He shared a lot of his knowledge with us and we could tell that he is really passionate about his work! He was always very patient and in the evenings when we had a lot of conversations about ourselves we could tell that he was genuinely interested! Saul made the experience of the trek even more special than it already was! At the end of the trek we considered him more of a friend than a tour guide, but I guess that’s just because of his warm and very modest personality! We highly recommend booking with Inkayni Peru Tours, and we hope you will be as fortunate as we were and get Saul as your guide!

Amazing Salkantay trek experience

This trek was an outstanding experience for us with Guido and his team (Masanciano, Victor and Hugo). The first 2 days are challenging, but extremely rewarding with the breathtaking views of the Humantay and Salkantay mountains. The camping sites are so private, peaceful and isolated, which really put our minds strongly on a vacation mindset!

We had Masanciano as our chef, and his every meal was so special, impressively elaborate and delicious. He even taught us how to make some simple staple Peruvian dishes!

Throughout the trek, Guido demonstrated an incredible mastery of the trail territory, weather, and fund of knowledge to go along for an amazing experience. He also served as our guide in Machu Picchu, going over so many mind blowing aspects of Inca culture and scientific achievements, which far exceeded our expectations of quite a hyped place to visit.

We highly recommend this trek without reservations.

Incredible Salkantay Trek Experience with Outstanding Guide and Chef!

We recently embarked on the 4-day Salkantay Trek, and it was an adventure we'll never forget! Our guide, Paul, truly made the journey exceptional with his wealth of knowledge about the Incas. He shared captivating stories that added layers of depth to our experience, making each step along the trail even more meaningful.

But it wasn't just Paul who made this trip unforgettable; Mr. Cristobal, our chef, deserves immense praise as well. His culinary skills were nothing short of extraordinary. We were treated to a variety of delicious andean dishes throughout the trek, each meal a delightful surprise after a day of hiking.

From the breathtaking scenery to the fascinating history shared by Paul, and the mouthwatering meals crafted by Mr. Cristobal, every aspect of this trek exceeded our expectations. We cannot recommend this experience enough to anyone seeking an adventure in the Peruvian Andes. Thank you to Paul, Mr. Cristobal, and the entire team for making this journey truly memorable!

Percy’s salkantay trek

Very well organised and fun trip. Percy, our guide, was full of local knowledge and wisdom and shared wonderful stories. The food was fantastic, especially considering it was cooked in a tent. I felt very safe and looked after the whole time

5-day Salkantay trek review

It goes without saying that the trip itself is fantastic, but what's more worth noting is how an already incredible experience was made all the more amazing by our guiding team!

Our tour guide Yiyo was so fun, patient, and knowledgeable. He kept us entertained with great stories; educated us with so many facts about Peru's history and culture; thoughtfully accommodated any injuries or illnesses anyone in our group was dealing with; and generally always kept our spirits high.

Our chef Zacarias was so creative and meticulous, making consistently delicious and traditional multi-course meals for every meal yet still never once repeating a dish. Even his meals to accommodate the dietary restrictions of one person were still just as carefully planned and prepared as the rest of the group's. He also surprised us with a cake to congratulate us for having finished the hardest parts of the trek.

Our porter Victor was working tirelessly to transport our bags between campsites then continuing to help with other labour at each campsite. Lugging our (unintentionally overweight) bags and corralling all the animals who carried them couldn't have been an easy task, and still I never saw him not lending a hand or helping out even at our sites.

Endlessly thankful to these three wonderful people for always going above and beyond to make the trek as unforgettable as it was!
