We toured macchu picchu via the short Inca trail hike with Rene Ferdinand. Rene was communicative, kind and knowledgeable about the sites. We were lucky enough to continue on with Rene to rainbow mountain. He honored our time and pace, which was so wonderful. Valencia was wonderful and I would definitely recommend requesting Rene specifically.

After experiencing issues with trip scheduling, Valencia Travel certainly made up for it with our tour guide and other extra sites. They assigned us a guide, Rene Suyo, who was absolutely terrific in showing us Machu Picchu and the other historic sites of Peru.

Ketti Duran!!!! THANK YOU for being so amazing!! She was such a wonderful tour guide. Even with the train strike, she made an alternative plan and we still had an amazing trip. We were bummed we didn’t get to go through the inca trail, but that just means we have to come back for another tour with Ketti!!

Highly recommend!

Our guide Ketti was excellent! We had a slight hiccup on our tour due to the tram strike, but Valencia Travel went above and beyond to help us get to Machu Picchu with a private bus and modified route. We were able to make the best out of the situation and our driver and Ketti were so accommodating, enthusiastic and nice! During the tour we were able to make a detour to Wayna Picchu and our guide told us all about the history of the Incans and the terrain. Would highly reccomend!

We adored our trip. Our guide Rene was a joy to be around and full of knowledge. I would highly recommend using Valencia travel and Rene on your Machu Picchu experience. We felt very safe and secure every step of the way and were sad when it was all over and had to say good bye to Rene.
