I found Peru to be amazing. I traveled with Trip a Deal with our fabulous tour leader Cloudio. My husband and I enjoyed his commentary and dedication to his country. He was enthusiastic and informative.

When selecting our tour company we were inundated with options. At the end of the day we could not be happier with our decision of Valencia travel.
Our guide Andres and the amazing views were the highlights of our trip to Peru.
Andres was a pleasure to hike with and felt like another friend to travel with by the end of the trip.
The 4 day/3 night hike felt like the perfect amount of time to enjoy nature and the many ruins we passed through.
Arriving at Machu Pichu, and the hoards of tourists that come along with it, gave us an appreciation for the experience we got to have by ourselves with the many other spectacular ruins you only get with this experience.
Can’t say enough good things about this trip :)

Andres was a pleasure to hike with and felt like another friend to travel with by the end of the trip.

Trip of a lifetime made even better with an amazing guide - Oscar; master chef Wilfredo and a group of porters worth their weight in gold. Challenging and achievable hike with loads of steps/stairs but made easier if you have a reasonable level of fitness. Our guide helped and encouraged us along the way and provided an abundance of history, language and culture of the Inca trail and all the Inca historical sites. Oscar was amazing sharing his in-depth knowledge and we really enjoyed sharing the experience with him. My gluten free request was catered for without question and we had min 3 course at every meal plus snacks. 5 stars across the board. Friendly, hardworking, knowledgeable team that we highly recommend. Booking with Valencia was easy with no hiccups and everything was more than we expected. Thank you for an amazing tour.

We had a once-in-a-lifetime experience hiking the 4-day classic Inca trail with Valencia Travel. Our guide, Andres, was incredible. His English was excellent and having lived some years in the United States, he had a really clear perspective of the cultural differences between our two countries, which made for some really engaging conversation. He was extremely knowledgeable about history and the trail, encouraged us as we pushed our bodies on the tough hiking days, and was exceptionally caring toward us and everyone else on the trail. He made the trip for us.
Our group of porters were incredibly strong, organized, and diligent. I can't believe how hard they worked to make meals and camping comfortable for us. Our chef, Gregorio, was a master. He made delicious meals and accommodated my hard-to-accommodate diet (dairy/milk allergy) from start to finish. This meant so much to me, as eating outside of my house is always a stressful experience, especially in other countries, and not only did I not have to worry, but I got to enjoy every single meal including things I *never* get to eat like pancakes and even a beautifully decorated cake at the end. I know from experience the diligence it takes to accommodate my diet, and he did better than any restaurant I've been to in Peru or the US.
The only constructive feedback I would give would be that the booking process was a little sticky at times, but it was a small bump in the road. We ended up being the only couple on our group tour, so it was great to not have to be bogged down by a huge group, which was evident with some of the bigger tour companies. We watched those folks have to wait for 12 people to take a photo of the same place, wait for slower hikers for every meal, and share the attention of their guides. Our experience was so much more intimate, which is the feedback I saw online, even for those with more in their groups, and the reason I chose this company.
DO THE 4-DAY INCA TRAIL! It was by far the highlight of our trip and something I'll never, ever forget. Worth every high-altitude step!

We had an amazing experience with Valencia. Our guide, Aldo, was superb. He was a teacher, friend, cheerleader, doctor, and expert photographer all rolled into one guide on the Inca Trail. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide and experience. The food was excellent, and interactions with the office staff (Carla) were great. We really can’t say enough about Valencia. They took great care of us, and we highly recommend them.

Valencia Travel Cusco Excited my expectation.
I booked my Trip to Machu Pichu with them, and I'm so happy I chose them to go on the 4 days Inca Trail hike,
From the Sales call via WhatsApp from the US to the Trip itself, it was such a pleasant experience.
We got picked up from the Cusco Airport on arrival and briefed on the hike the next day.
We went hiking with two other couples and had 12 Porters and 1 Guide.
Our guide, Nico, was terrific; he explained everything to us throughout the hike, including the history and customs of the Incas.
The Porters and Chef Filex were exceptional and went above and beyond with all our needs.
I was surprised with a Birthday Cake on our hike, and I had no idea someone could make and decorate a cake in a tent.
It was incredibly mind-blowing.
I highly recommend them to anyone looking to do the Inca Trail.
We are extremely pleased with the service we received.
I give them A++++++

Absolutely amazing experience! My boyfriend and I were in the middle of our 3 month backpacking trip and we had all of our gear with us so were a bit slower than some of the rest! I was worried about that but our guide (Nico) was so kind and patient with us and offered to get us a porter (although we refused on grounds of being stubborn!) He was super knowledgable about everything which made the whole thing awesome! All of the porters and the chef are absolutely incredible, and looked after us so much, couldn’t imagine doing the Inca Trail with better company / people. Loved the whole thing! Can’t recommend Valencia Travel enough!

I've been meaning to write this review since our return in Sept. 2022! But, life keep intervening with one thing or another.
That my family (including 2 teens) and I still treasure our Macchu Picchu hike of a year ago really says a lot. We can't say enough good things about our guides Rudy and Aldo. They were fantastic in encouraging and explaining along the way, and were just the right amount of calm, firmness, and fun. The crew of 16 cooked delicious meals, set up camp, cleaned up after us, and greeted us with nice basins of hot water at the end of our long hikes. They were truly priceless!
We also were very lucky to have a great group of people on our 4 day hike. Everyone got along nicely, and we shared good laughs and stories. The hike through the diverse landscape, learning about the Inca civilization, and visiting one of the Wonders of the World was a true experience of a lifetime.
My family and I highly recommend this hike, especially with Rudy and Aldo as guides, with Valencia Travel!

Genrri our guide was lovely and took good care of us on the gruelling but absolutely stunning trek! The porters are something else - absolute superheroes. Everything was really well organised - would recommend. If you’re hesitating about doing the longer hike - DO IT! The views are SO WORTH IT!

Must do! Inca trail is exactly what you expect and more. It is fun and rightfully challenging. There's some great flora and fauna to explore and visiting any Inca site is always an unreal experience (and we visited many of them along the way).
Further, I had a great experience with Valencia Travel. Genrri, who was our guide, is knowledgeable and fun and took care of things whenever necessary. Our chef on the trail, Feliciano was wonderful and cooked us a great mix of things and along with Benjamin, who helped setting up the table and was cheerful. And lastly, the team of porters, led by head porter Hilario was immense.
Further, I had a great experience with Valencia Travel. Genrri, who was our guide, is knowledgeable and fun and took care of things whenever necessary. I stayed at the Casa Andina Standard Cusco Plaza inbetween the hiking, they kept our luggage safe.. they were absolutely brilliant

Hi, me and my partner are looking to book for Jan 27th, I saw other packages that you offer. What is the difference between "group" and private tour?
Hi ! We are looking to book for 27.01.2020 for the 4 day, is there storage for our main bags whilst we go on the 4 day trip or do we take it with us?

Since we were returning to the same hotel for a night at the conclusion of our hike, we were allowed to store our suitcases there.
Hi I would like to know if we have those 4 days accommodation in tents and food because in the section what to expect it says that the accommodation and meals are not included I don't know what to believe. Thanks!

That depends what time you start the last hike to Macchu Picchu. Our group got up at 4am and hiked into the sunrise. We were arrived at Macchu Picchu in the morning and were on the bus into town by noon. We had an amazing lunch at one of the local restaurants. We beat the crowds, it was great! It was the best way to do it, we then traveled back to Cusco had dinner and had hotel arrangements for a night stay.

Hi. Great question. I recommend 45L. You should be good with a 30-45L pack. Some of the backpacks come with a raincover. If yours does not I would highly recommend that you purchase the raincover to keep all your stuff nice and dry! Also, we did not pay the additional fee for our own porter; if you decide to go that route you might be able to get away with going slightly smaller.

You can rent a sleeping bag from Valencia, and they are comfortable and clean. Pay extra for the personal porter to carry it along with some additional items. It is so worth it! The porters are amazing, so tip graciously. I don’t remember the exact price, but it is worth it. They will give you a large duffle to fit everything into, and if I remember correctly as mentioned by another post, it is up to 7kg.
