If you want to take it slow, Edgar is your guy, but if you want to go fast? Ask for Lissandro, hé is the best! Very skilled and helpfull

An unbelievable experience, and a must do for visiting Peru / Cusco. We saw the most breathtaking views on the ATV tour, the guides were so kind, and we saw incredible parts of the country (nature and culture) that you cannot see at Machu Picchu.

I had a great trip to Moray & Maras Salt Mines with this tour company.
The quads (ATVs) were an amazing experience for me that I highly enjoyed. We drove for more than an hour (round-trip to the inca ruin Moray) on gravel roads. The quads stir up a lot of dust though, which made the clothes very dusty/dirty. Since we also were partly underway with 50+ km/h, it quite cold on our way due to the wind we were facing. Because of that I highly suggest to get clothed accordingly.
Moray was a place nice to look at, we were also given enough time (30 min) for taking photos and walking around. Afterwards, we went on by bus to the Maras Salt Mines. They can only be viewed from outdoors actually (it more or less consists only of pools storing the salty water), but they were pretty spectacular nonetheless. We took photos there and then headed back to Cusco.
Personally, both the inca site and the salt mines on their own felt a bit lackluster to me (since there really isn't much to do except for taking some photos), but the ATV was an absolute highlight, especially because I had never driven one before. Because of that and given that it was only a half-day trip (we returned at 13:30 to Cusco), I recommend the tour to anyone who likes adventure and nature.

Had a great experience but they advertise that the tour is a total of 5 hours but it ended up being 7 hours. We had something to get to after so we were nervous the whole time that we would miss it. I advise the company to change their listing to be more accurate. Otherwise, we had a great time and the guide did a good job explaining the two sites to us and the ATVs were really fun! It was interesting being down in the valley in the middle of the farmlands. We saw pigs, sheep, cows, etc.

Awesome experience. We did the ziplining followed by the ATV experience. A car came to get us from our hotel for the ziplining. They even made a stop at a rural store with alpacas/lamas and we received an explanation on how they use alpaca fiber to make clothes etc. Ziplining itself was really fun. The two tour guides for ziplining were very experienced and helped us with different ziplining poses and were more than happy to take pictures and videos of us. They drove us straight to the base camp where all the ATVs were. Riding the ATV fo Moray was very fun. Had never ridden an ATV before so first experience. Would recommend you wear gloves and cover up the skin on your body in case you fall in order to prevent road rash. Edgar was our tour guide for ATV and he was great - took beautiful pictures and videos of us on ATVs, explained the moray and salt mines, supportive if you’re having any difficulty with riding the ATV and super nice and welcoming over all. Would def recommend this experience.

If you want to get a difference experience at cusco, this tour definitely hits the spot. this is by far the most exciting atv ride i ever had. However, the duration of the tour was not 5 hours as stated, but we manage to make a new arrangement with the tour operator.

Besides hiking the Inca Trail, this was definitely the highlight of our trip! We had an absolute blast thanks to our AMAZING guide Edgar. He was a phenomenal photographer and was so good at making sure we got the pictures we wanted and knowing exactly how to pose us & angle the camera. Transport was great, the ATVs were in good condition, the ride was very scenic, and Edgar was very knowledgeable - we learned a lot at both of the sites we went to (note that you take a van to the salt mines because ATVs are not allowed for safety reasons). Also, it wasn’t noted anywhere so for other families - you must be 16 to drive an ATV (our 13 yr old rode with me). Keep in mind that you will get dusty & dirty!

So much fun!!! We were excited to take off on ATV's through the beautiful open countryside at 13,000ft to Moray and the Maras Salt Mines. It was a beautiful day and upon arrival in Maras we were presented some great ATV's, nice helmets, and gloves for our trip! All of the equipment was in top shape. I installed some go pros to the ATV racks and we were off and running after some instructions and test drives. We let our guide know that we were "professionals" which brought some laughter, however growing up in southern Indiana, our boys were on ATVs by 5 years old!? The trip was well guided and easy to follow our guide on nice roads and pathways. It was a unique way to see the area and we had an absolute blast!! The views are spectacular! The roads were a bit dusty, so I would suggest neutral colored clothing for the trip and a face gator would be perfect to help with the dust! They will air hose you and equipment off when you finish!

This is hands down the best experience in Peru. After I booked, the team confirmed my pick up and time. They picked us up on time and took us to a larger van. The van was really clean and comfortable. We drove about an hour out and then got a tutorial on how to operate the ATV. They did a couple of practice laps with us and then we were off to Moray. The views you see while driving the ATV are surreal. They even stopped to take our pictures and then we rode back from Moray. We transitioned back to the van and continued to Maras to see the salt mines. Our tour guide, Carlos was the most kind and knowledgeable guide ever. He was so engaging and made the whole experience so much fun. I highly recommend this tour!

The ride is a lot of fun! However keep in mind additional charges along the way. Locals stopped us for 2 soles each, and the tickets to both places cost around 80soles per person. Otherwise it was a great experience and our guide was really nice :)

Is the timing very accurate?
Total tour : 7am - 12pm
Where will the return location be? Back at our own hotel?
Because i will have another tour at 1.00pm. So would like to be sure if I can make it.

It is not very accurate. I would definitely give yourself at least an hour buffer. Our bus was around 30 min late arriving and returning.

I don’t believe your son will be able to ride his own ATV, but your son may potentially be able to ride on an ATV with you - the seats are definitely big enough. But you will need to check with the tour operators to see if they even allow it.
After being picked up in Cuzco, it possible to be dropped off or take a bus/taxi from Moray/Manas to Ollantaytambo or Urubamba instead of returning to Cuzco?
