It all went wonderfully. The planning of the tours was 10. The service, the hotels, the punctuality, etc. Only compliments!!!!

Could not recommend Michael and CrossoverPeru more! We had an amazing time trekking around Machu Picchu and up to the Sun Gate. Michael was a very informative and patient guide and totally made the experience great for us. Best of all, I proposed to my girlfriend up there and he helped keep the secret and photographed it all! A++ experience.

WOW! So glad my wife and I spent our money and time on this tour. Juan Carlos met us at our hotel the night before to review all the details, time and required documents for the next couple days. Day 1 - Sacred Valley with 5 other couples jn a comfortable bus: Pisaq and Ollantaytambo were AMAZING. Just mind-blowing that they were able to build these terraces and buildings in the sides of the mountains. The train ride through the mountains along the Sacred River to Aguas Calientes was beautiful. Day 2 - Juan Carlos picked my wife and I up at our hotel in the morning for a private tour of Machu Picchu that I will always remember — it was breath-taking. Juan Carlos’ insights and history helped bring the tour to life and it was so nice to have that personal attention and interaction. Juan Carlos had lunch with us and saw safely onto the train back to Ollantaytambo where they car a car waiting for us. If we could give a higher rating than 5 out of 5 we would. Strongly recommend this tour AND this company.

Un tour que salió en hora, lo cual está muy bueno. La guía del primer día (Flor) excelente, con mucho conocimiento de cada lugar que veíamos.El tren a aguas calientes salió en hora, la persona del hotel nos estaba esperando al llegar no tuvimos que esperar. En cuanto a Machupicchu e Huayna Picchu, increíble el lugar, subir la montaña cuesta un poco pero de a poco es posible. En cuanto a nuestro guía Michel excelente tuvo en cuenta ir a nuestro ritmo y se nota que tiene mucho conocimiento del lugar. Además nos alentaba para subir. Cosas negativas a mencionar el primer día a mitad de camino el tour para a almorzar en un lugar tipo buffet si no deseas comer ahí debes de quedarte afuera esperando no hay más opciones. Además el tour fue en inglés nadie nunca nos había avisado de esto. Con respecto al hotel de aguas calientes nos tocó una habitación debajo del comedor, a las cinco de la mañana comenzaron a escucharse ruidos de sillas y platos lo cual hizo que no pudieramos descansar bien.

Before booking the tour, they are very patient in explaining to me the itinerary.
The evening before the tour, my tour guide Kevin came to my hotel to give me a briefing and tickets, hassle-free!
The first day was a small group tour from Cusco to Pisaq and then finally arriving at Ollantaytambo then take the train to Agua Calientes where I spent a night there.
The 2nd day was definitely the highlight!!!! Kevin was my private tour guide, 1-2-1.
We took the early bus to arrive at Machu Picchu and Kevin brought me to the Sun Gate. He was not only a great tour guide, but also a good photographer.
I have so many good photos now! Thanks to Kevin who knows how to avoid the crowd and find good views for photos.
The tour was not cheap but the train tickets are expensive already. And it's definitely worthy to have a private tour guide to go to Machu Picchu.

Yaritza was excellent. She met us in Cusco to explain what to expect going up the mountain. She checked on us the night before to make sure we were set. The morning of the climb we met early and she negotiated us through the bus ride. We had a great climb to the top learning the key points on history, nature and people. That along with her company and the magnificent pictures made it all unforgettable. She will be our guide next time, our friends too. Many Thanks!!!

We were 11 people in our group 3 teens and 1 11 yr and 1 5 years old. Juan Carlos and Kevin was helpful through out our trip and motivated us during Machu picchu hike. Because of Kevin two teenagers able to hike to Machu Picchu Montana. Both never rush for anything at the same time we able to manage all the times at all the places.
We had city tour too with Kevin and been to local market and bought some fresh fruit and cheap souvenir.

Great question. I think it varies. We were with a med sized group for the first day (maybe 12 to 15 ppl), for the bus tour and sacred valley sites. So glad we didn’t skip the other sites! Then most people went BACK to Cusco while a few couples got on the train to Aquas Calientes and MP. The next morning we met up with our guide (in our hotel lobby) for a solo tour of MP. Not sure if the on-on-one treatment was standard or if we just got lucky, but it was AMAZING to have that focus and flexibility for Machu Picchu.
They are really good about answering questions on the website... I had a bunch, and they replied quickly in perfect English.
