Christian and Alfredo are the best guides. They are responsible and treated us as real family. We had a great experience with them in the Sacred valley and the Machu Picchu. Christian is knowledgeable and we learned a lot

What an amazing trip! Our guide Dayvit was incredibly knowledgeable and a joy to spend two days with. This tour hits all the best places. We added Waynapichu mountain hike and it’s a workout but 100% worth it. SAM / Dayvit kept us up to date on a political situation happening during our visit as well, which made us even more at ease on our trip.
Machu Picchu does not disappoint! Thank you SAM!

Wow. We had such an incredible experience in Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu. Our guide, Dayvit, is the most knowledgeable guide we have ever had. He has such an extensive knowledge of the history and is very friendly and helpful. If you are planning a trip to Peru, I highly recommend SAM travel and be sure to request Dayvit!

I would recommend SAM Travel very highly. From the moment I first contacted them, Saul and Junior were always quick and efficient with answering our questions and arranging everything for our 2 day trek to Machu Picchu.
We were arriving on Christmas Day and were worried whether we would be able to continue with our plans (the political unrest in Cusco had caused road blocks as well as the closure of Machu Picchu) but we were reassured that everything would be fine ….. and it was. In fact it was more than fine, it was FABULOUS. It exceeded all our expectations.
Our guide Rolando was wonderful - he knew everything about the Inca people, Machu Picchu and the other ruins along the trail and helped us with everything - train tickets, bus tickets etc. We loved our time with Rolando and were very sad to say goodbye at the end of our visit.
We were unbelievably lucky to be able to visit these beautiful places and to meet the kind and gentle Quechua people. This was really the best holiday ever and I couldn’t recommend SAM Travel highly enough.

We had a very enjoyable 2 day tour to Machu Picchu via sacred valley with Sams Travel. We can't thank Jean Pierre enough for showing us your beautiful country. We found your service extremely informative and attentive. Our kids particularly appreciated your thoughtful addition of taking them to the alpacca co-op. The hotel provided as part of the package was clean and comfortable for an overnight stay. Thank you for creating everlasting memories for our family!

My sisters and I did the 3 day, 2 night Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu tour and it was so amazing!! Our guide was Liz Montesinos and she was perfect!!
Liz made this tour so special by adding her expertise of the area and culture. She had excellent communication and support throughout the whole tour. Even checking in with us to make sure we made it to our other destination. Cannot recommend her enough!! She made you feel like family! This tour was perfection! It was a bit of a struggle to climb to some of the many locations. Altitude does make a huge impact on the body, however Liz was patient and waited, as well as encouraged me along the way! Made it to every one!! Sam’s Tours and Liz made this so special for my sisters and I. I highly recommend!

Service from our tour guide Carlos was outstanding! He always put others first and provides great translated guiding of the tour. He even went a step further and hiked Huayna Picchu with me alone and took pictures of me and my brother throughout the tour. Sam travel is a must if you want peace of mind. They book everything needed for the entire tour and all you do is show up!

Incredible experience with guides Dayvit and Junior!! We spent three days with them. In every experience, they shared the history of every location. They know the ins and outs of every experience, knowing when to arrive to beat the local traffic.
On day 1, They showed us chinchero and we went ATV riding in moray (so fun). We also saw the salt mines in Maras and we spent time in Ollantaytambo.
Next day we visited aguas calientes and hiked up Machu Picchu and Huayna Pichu. They also arranged massages for us.
Finally we visited rainbow mountain! Beautiful! Thanks so much Dayvit and Junior!

What time does the tour return to Cucso on day 2. I'm trying to determine if I need to book a room to Cusco or if I can fly out that night.

It's is pretty late .. around 8 pm we reach Cusco. I would recommend flying next day. Or if there is really late night flight after 10.30 pm.. please take that flight then.
