Chef Balbino and his assistant Felix provided a first class experience and delicious meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Each meal was different and they took us on a culinary tour of all the fresh fruits, vegetables, and meats that Peru has to offer. Our accommodations and clothing bags were always awaiting our arrival and they were extremely friendly.
Our guide Roger Calsin was terrific. His knowledge of the local culture, wildlife and fauna was incredible and he always blessed us with humorous stories. Roger was a great guide that assisted us and helped us when we struggled on particular challenging parts of the Salkantay trail. He is very friendly and always takes the opportunity to help you learn words and phrases from the local language while also looking to add different words and phrases from your language.
We highly recommend this trio and would definitely request them again. Trexperience was all we expected and more!

It was a really nice experience. The chef Oskar made the most amazing food. I can´t eat milk and he made me really good alternatives. Also gluten free and veggie is no problem for him. Our guide William was very caring and always wanted everyone to be happy. His English is really good. His knowledge about the region, all the plants and insects that live there and the history of the inca´s is outstanding. For the last day (Machu Picchu itself) we had another guide Filio. He was really kind, helped us with the bags and took loads of great pictures. His English wasn´t the best but ok and his tour in Machu Picchu was great!

It was amazing. We had the most spectacular views, a variety of landscapes. Everything was well organized. Our guide William was so caring and he spoke very good English. We met the nicest people of other countries. The food was amazing, we had delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner and there was always plenty of choice, also for vegetarians, lactose intolerants.. Credits to Oscar the chef. But also to the rest of the crew, they were always helpful, doing such a good job (setting up the campsites, carrying our stuff...). The final day we had another guide, Filio, because we did 4 and not 5 days. He also did a great job. I always felt safe with our guides and the crew. I strongly recommend this organization if you want to do a Salkantay trek!

I had a great experience on the salkatay trail, with some unreal views and the food was excellent! The first nights campsite was one of the best locations I have stayed! The whole of the staff were caring and assisted with everything. The guides Willian and Filio were very informative and passionate about what they do and the history of their culture! Couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Jhony and Iza were great tour guides. They were both really funny and entertaining. They were both really around kids (and that is coming from a 13 year old.) The porters were amazing, the food was outstanding and the tents+sleeping arrangement was spectacular. Jhony and Iza were awesome… Overall 10/10!!

Outstanding experience on the Salkantay, led by Oscar as main guide and the excellent team of porters/chefs and horseman. The overall organisation was perfect, with logistics from start to finish running very smoothly. Oscar as a guide was superb, offering a huge amount of local knowledge of the region and the Quechua culture, and the support team were great too, including serving food 3 times a day that I did not expect in remote parts of the Andes - food was excellent. Would 100% use Trexperience if in Cusco again.

Amazing 4 day salkantay trek with Oscar, and later Filio. Amazing sights, great guides! Oscar in particular was so helpful and motivating on some of the harder parts of the trek!
Food was amazing & the team of chefs and porters made everything so easy. We even had a birthday cake for my partner on the penultimate day (gluten & dairy free - which is hard to do in a normal kitchen, let alone a camp kitchen!)

Wonderful trip trekking through stunning scenery. Superbly guided by Oscar and with incredible food from Daniel and the team (who provided delicious meals in spite of my challenging dietary requirements). 10/10

The cooks (Cenobio and Juan) were amazing and the food was top class. José our tour guide was very nice and very informative. The only criticisms are that we were told how much we should tip before the trek started and it was quite a lot and we weren’t pre warned about how much that would be when we booked it. Also some things were extra costs that really should have been included such as the hot springs and the toilets at the lunch places. All in all an amazing experience though and would highly recommend.

If we book for a tour on November 23 2019 is there a risk of weather effecting our trip?

The weather out there is very unpredictable, so there's always a risk. That being said winter will be almost over by that point in peru. However, that's why I always get travel insurance just in case.
