What an experience! Just stepping into the museum you immediately have a feeling of solemnity and respect for those involved in the tragedy. Thorough and well-researched information brilliantly conveyed by storytelling, documentaries and newspapers of the time as well as a wide array of original exhibits including personal belongings let us connect with the experience at a profound personal level, letting us almost feel the struggle for survival. The interactive elements make the experience highly engaging so the museum would really benefit from including more of these. It would also be really worth making it more visible for locals since most don't know about its existence. Museo de los Andes 1972 is definitely a hidden gem that should spread its light to everyone.

O museu não é grande, mas há um cuidado com detalhes, informações e sobre o acidente.
Tem um acervo bem distribuído e o atendimento é muito bom.
Tivemos a chance de ver pessoalmente im dos idealizadores do museu e sobrevivente do desastre. Vale a pena conhecer mais da história e dos fatos.

Sin duda uno de los mejores que he visitado.
Es una muestra bien construida y respetuosa de los hechos acontecidos en esta tremenda tragedia. Emotivo sin dudas.

O Museu tem um acervo muito rico do trágico acidente ocorrido nos Andes. Há muitas peças e materiais do acidente, além de réplicas, fotografias e vídeos que enriquecem o conteúdo sobre esse momento triste da história uruguaia.
O Museu está no Centro Histórico e pode entrar perfeitamente num roteiro com os outros atrativos, incluindo um almoço no Mercado del Puerto.
