We were welcomed by the guide Henrique, very kind and attentive. The tour lasted three hours and we passed the main points of Montevideo, Henrique was very detailed and served us very well, the driver Nestor was also very attentive with us. For a quick tour I recommend, we left at 9hs from the harbour and returned at 12hs right at lunchtime and we could taste a very good meat!

Excellent tour of Montevideo. Both the driver and the guide very cordial. The latter proved to have extensive knowledge of the history of the city and a great love for his country and his city. At the end of the visit we were invited with some delicious alfajores. If you are reading this review I take this opportunity to thank you for the nice moment you put my family and me through. Rodrigo was a wonderful tour guide, history, teacher, cultural interpreter, and all-around good guy to spend the day with. We enjoyed all the stops on the tour, especially the food market.

Rod was a fabulous tour guy. The tour itself was informative, Rod was friendly and it was definitely a value for the price. I highly recommend Rod and the tour.

We had a fun bus tour with Rodrigo from the cruise port through the city. Saw some very nice sights. Rodriguez English is excellent which made the tour very informative. It was a really good use of the time we had in our day in Port.

Our cruise had a one day stop in Montevideo.
We’ve booked tours through Viator for years now and the local tour operators you get through booking with Viator are reliable and understand the nature of cruise excursions (ie you HAVE to get back on board on time!).
So this started off a bit confused as the details you get don’t tell you the operator to look for at the meet point (meet point is right outside the ship so that bit was easy to find).
The tour is on one coach where you join passengers from other cruises.
Our tour guide was lovely and called Henrique.
He got off to a rough start though as two of the passengers left at first stop without telling anyone. This meant he dutifully held our coach up whilst he tried to find them (he obviously had more manners than the two).
So we did all the stops as promised. Commentary could be a little difficult to hear and understand at some points but was none the less good value for money.
Husband really liked the tour but personally I would explore the local hop on hop off bus which you can pick up at same location when you get off boat - not sure on cost of this, but you’d get ear prices with good volume and commentary and be free to ‘hop on and hop and off’ (strange that!).
BUT this tour was far better value than ship excursion groups which basically did the same at three times the price!

It was a nice overview of the most noteworthy sites of downtown Montevideo. We were on a full large coach ~50 passenger) so getting on and off was slow. The sound system was of modest quality and the guide’s English combined to make many things difficult to understand.

According to the description for the tour, reasonable time and price however group of 40 people. Our guide knew Montevideo very well and was very friendly. Waited too long at the port before leaving for our excursion.

An excellent tour. Our tour guide Rodrigo was one of the best and made the tour one of the most enjoyable we’ve done….thanks. He was so knowledgeable and presented the information in an interesting yet informative manner. Definitely recommend this tour - but hope you get Rodrigo as your tour guide.

Bom dia, visitaremos Montevidéu de 20 a 24/10, hospedados no hotel Dazzler, e gostaríamos de realizar um tour pela cidade pelos principais pontos turísticos. Seria possível na segunda feira dia 21/10, saída e retorno no hotel.

I've reserved two tickets for this tour. The languages were to be English, Spanish and Portuguese. I speak English only. But the ticket reservation states guide is Spanish. Can you advise if it will be by an ENGLISH speaking guide.
