I reserved this trip for myself during a solo trip to Albania, and was quickly impressed by the pre-trip communications from Andi from Go As Local. Andi was very informative, responsive, and flexible in accommodating my request for a brief side trip addition to Vevcani (NMK). Andi also generously partially refunded my fee when some other folks also registered for the tour, which was incredibly decent and honorable.
For the tour itself, our friendly guide Xhulio did a great job, taking us out for tea/coffee on the way out from Tirana, answering any questions we had, and never hurrying any of us participants along. We saw some amazing vistas at Ohrid and had a delicious lunch there as well. I’d certainly recommend using Go As Local for touring in and around Albania!

It was a great day to North Macedonia, Lake Ohrid is breathtaking, great walk through town and enjoyed all the stops along the way . Excellent tour guide, pretty lunch stop. REMEMBER - take passport along as it's a border crossing.

Excellent tour to Ohrid from GoAsLocal. The tour guide Xhulio was friendly, fun, and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a day trip from Tirana.
It’s worth every penny and I wouldn’t hesitate to take another took with GoAsLocal the next time I’m in Tirana. 10/10

We had a stress-free and wonderful day exploring the highlights of Ohrid with our guide, Skerdi! This tour covered most of the iconic sights with short strolls at a comfortable pace. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in North Macedonia and ended our day with a delicious meal at a local traditional Albanian restaurant! Highly recommended!

Another brilliant day. This time with Skerdi who was knowledgeable. Lake Ohrid was beautiful. We walked around the lake and part of the pretty little town. Then visited the monastery of St Naum . Just back inside Albania we had a delicious late lunch at a typical Albanian restaurant in a village. It was a long day but well worth it

Our tour guide, Andi, made the day tour unforgettable. Andi always listened to our requirements and did everything to make us feel comfortable and satisfied! His knowledge about the history, tourist features and the land is marvellous. The spots for food were chosen perfectly!
I recommend this trip to solo and group travelers!

I joined a tour of Ohrid as solo traveler and I was suprised that I was suprised as was partially refunded in cash, since there was also another fellow traveler joining. The tour is fairly priced and julio was a very funny, easy going guide. The tour was informative, well organised and I was also notified to brkng extra clothes if wanted to swim..

Incredible tour to a very beautiful town and churches surrounding Lake Ohrid. Xhullio, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable of the area and it’s history, friendly and a fun person to hang out with. He also recommended us very interesting places to visit in Tirana. Highly recommend!!!

We booked a tour with Go as Local to go to Ohri. It was really good and our guide Xhulio made it wonderful,so helpful and a joy to be for the whole day. It was so much fun and was what we needed!

Me and my son took this trip to Ohrid and the lake and we had a very good time. We stopped at interesting places and had a tour around most of the beautiful lake. We even hade time to have a short swim in lake Ohrid.
Our driver, Skerdi, was an excellent guide and he is a very safe and good driver.
I strongly recommend this trip to one of the oldest lakes in Europe and to the oung country of North Macedonia.
