What an amazing afternoon! Mersiha welcomed us into her home, poured us homemade elderflower cocktail, and put us to work! By the end of the day we had made burek, dolma and friends. The filo pastry is mind-boggling but the results are delicious. You will be guided through by Mersiha's fluent English, spectacular cooking skills and wicked sense of humour. I took my mother on her first trip to Bosnia and it was the best introduction I could imagine - Hvala Mershia! :)

We were welcomed by Mersiha and Mustafa for a typical Bosnian lunch and we feasted! The cuisine and conversation of our guests made us have a great time we will remember! A huge thank you!

Wonderful cooking and human experience with Mersiha 🫶🏻
We enjoyed every second of our cooking lesson where we learned how to make stuffed vegetables and burek with zucchini and cheese !
The plates were decilous and more over the cooking experience, I highly recommend Mershia for her kindness and all the human experience.
If you want to have an authentic experience with a great cook professor and a lovely person you are at the right place !

We had the best time at the cooking class! Mersiha was very welcoming and so friendly, chatting with us like we were life long friends! The food was so delicious and fun to make, the class was very interactive and we learnt so much… I can’t wait to give this a try at home!

We very much enjoyed our afternoon cooking class with Mersiha. She welcomed us warmly into her home and patiently guided us through the steps as we created two local dishes: dolmas and jufkas. The best part: we got to enjoy the delicious dishes we had created. Highly recommended.

Do this cooking class! The food and wine was delicious, great company and you’ll learn a lot.
A friend and I did the cooking class on the day there was a rare power outage across the Balkans. The host arranged a taxi pick up for us, which we were very grateful for. Because of no power they’d gone to great effort to prepare some alternative options for us to continue to cook (which we were more than happy to try!), luckily the power came back on just after we arrived so everything worked out really well. We enjoyed great conversation, wine and snacks, made and ate some amazing traditional food, and had a lot of fun. It was my favourite thing to do in Sarajevo!

Truly a great experience! The food was delicious and the host was lovely to learn from and speak with. It was the perfect way to have a more unique experience while visiting Sarajevo. Highly recommend!

I had booked this tour when I got to Sarajevo. I was communicating with the owner for the pickup time. The owner said he would call a taxi for me. The pick up time was 2pm. Now it is 215 no taxi. I called the owner he called the taxi company and they said a taxi was there waited for 10 minutes and left. I did not see a taxi. Due to the power outage I was unable to call for another taxi. All the phone lines were ringing busy. The owner did not even offer to come and pick me up.
The owner knew how I was looking forward to taking the cooking class. I am beyond disappointed.

Hi Karol,
I'm so sorry you feel this way, I feel the same too. I did my best to organise it all and was so thrilled to finally meet you. Unfortunately nobody could predict power outage in whole country and phone lines to go down. After 30 minutes of calling different cab companies, I did manage to find one cab and cab driver waited for you for 10 minutes and later I couldn't reach him or you because of dead phone lines... I feel bad about this since meeting different people is something what truly makes me happy and this time that didn't happen because of higher power. I really hope for your understanding, and to take into account that sometimes things are out of our hands no meter how hard we try and wish for something to happen.

We had a wonderful afternoon preparing great Bosnian food with expert instructions! Mersiha was so welcoming and informative about the traditions of BiH cooking techniques and origins. We got to enjoy delicious stuffed vegetables and pies of which we made the filo from scratch while taking in a gorgeous view from the hilltop. It was a real highlight of our trip to Sarajevo!

Contact Bosnian cooking for your dates and time and they will accommodate you ..you will truly have a wonderful experience. And they will make you very welcome .. they also have wine tasting. And photograph tours .. I would really advise you to go on this amazing experience ..
