I can't recommend the Bosnian Cooking Lessons in Sarajevo enough!
Mersiha and Mustafa welcomed us into their home like old friends and guided us through a fun-filled afternoon of cooking.
We laughed, shared stories, and created mouth-watering dishes using fresh ingredients from their garden.
The view from their hilltop home is the icing on the cake! It's not just a cooking class, it's a heartwarming cultural experience that leaves you with a full stomach, new skills, and fantastic memories

We had a great time with Merisha and Mustafa in their very nice home 😍
The food is delicious and very traditional. It is a wonderful taste of Bosnia and they both are very friendly persons 😍

We had so much fun with Mersiha. She is such a warm and kind person. She spoke passionately about the Bosnian cuisine and taught us way more than we were expecting. If you need any tips for the rest of your trip, she will gladly share her experiences and favorite places.
Everything we cooked was fresh and delicious. We can't wait to cook the dishes for our family at home. We've had a lot of great food in Bosnia but this was definitely the best! The drinks were also delicious and she was very generous to us.
Mersiha thank you so so much for the best activity of our holiday!

Fünf Tage in Sarajevo und zwei Tage in Mostar haben uns einen guten Einblick gegeben zu Land und Leute. Geführt und hervorragend begleitet durch Mustafa.
In dieser Zeit, kostbar eingebettet, war der Kochkurs von Mersiha.
Was haben wir in dieser Zeit gelacht, zubereitet, gekocht und gegessen
Gemüse wurde verarbeitet, Teig ausgewalzt, Peperoni gefüllt und Desserts kreiert.
Die meisten Zutaten, die wir verarbeitet haben, stammen aus dem Garten von Mersiha. Einiges war schon so weit vorbereitet, dass wir gegen Abend an ein herrliches Essen sitzen konnten. Getränke durften wir auswählen: Apfelmost selbst gepresst, Saft aus Weintrauben etc.
Die Zeit im Zuhause von Mustafa und Mersiha vergingen im Nu.
Als wir uns am bereits dunklen Abend aufmachten, hinunter ins Hotel zu fahren,
fühlten wir Dankbarkeit den beiden lieben Menschen gegenüber.

In an amazing Balkans trip this night was, by far, the standout highlight. To be welcomed in by Mersiha and her husband Mustafa, up on the hill overlooking Sarajevo, like old friends, to share their home, their stories- of everyday life, family, friends and of a childhood living through a war/ was a truly humbling and amazing experience.
The food was a bonus- really fun to make, plentiful and delicious, and the a perfect way to round off an evening full of laughter, love and humanity.
Please go. If you do one thing, make it this.

We really enjoyed the cooking class. It was like to go to a friends house to cook together. As it takes place in Mersiha and Mustafas home, it is a very personal experience and a good opportunity to lean more about life in Bosnia, its past and present. Making Burek was great fun, and the food was all very delicious!

Best cooking class ever. I actually mastered burek which was a miracle. But what really made this experience special was the way I was treated. Mersiha and Mustafa turned the experience from a cooking class into a friendship. And I think that is what they do with everyone. They treat you as a friend. It is what makes traveling the world worth it.

I have done various cooking lessons over the world and this was by far the best! It’s a very personal setting as if you are invited to a friend’s home. So I would highly recommend this experience to anyone who would like to know more not only about Bosnian food but about daily life in general.

Four brothers on an epic trip through the Balkans - so much adventure, natural beauty, and history and yet this experience may have been the most memorable of them all.
If it had only been a cooking lesson that would have been enough, but it was so much more than that. It was a cultural lesson, a human connection, and it was also a divine tasting experience. Mustafa and Merisha are quite the duo and we absolutely loved every minute of it.

This was the highlight of our trip to Sarajevo. Mersiha was an amazing host and an even better cook! Apart from enjoying a delicious meal, we ended up hours chatting about the war, Sarajevo and life in general. It was a great evening, highly recommended for anyone visiting!

Contact Bosnian cooking for your dates and time and they will accommodate you ..you will truly have a wonderful experience. And they will make you very welcome .. they also have wine tasting. And photograph tours .. I would really advise you to go on this amazing experience ..
