- KaiT5250 条分享愉快的一日游通过TripAdvisor，我们预定了BulTrips 旅行社的普罗夫迪夫一日游。 我们从索菲亚出发，途经普罗夫迪夫 - 阿森堡垒 - 里拉修道院 出发当天，导游兼司机 Daniel先生，早上提前十分钟就在酒店大堂等我们，十分准时，面带微笑迎接我们。一路上驾驶平稳，时不时和我们介绍景点和保加利亚的文化历史。 他对每个景点背景非常了解，介绍了很多我之前不知道的信息/ 知识。 ( 原本当日一起旅行的其他人因为个人原因，没有参加，所以就我们两人！有种包车旅行的感觉！幸运😃 。因为我个人对里拉修道院不是很感兴趣，所以 Daniel 为我们更改了行程。这样也使得我们整个行程轻松慢节奏很多。 👍🏻） 在普罗夫迪夫，参观了几栋奥斯曼帝国时期的豪宅，进了一座东正教教堂和一座清真寺。登上了山顶看了老城区全景。导游英语非常好，所以根本不用担心沟通问题。一路上十分细心，看到台阶就会叮嘱我们小心脚下，还帮我们拍照片。为人友善，对中国文化也很热爱。非常满意！强烈推荐！ 这次保加利亚之行，我们预定了两个小团旅游都是通过Bultrip这家旅行社，真是很棒的选择。这家旅社算比较新，成立两年多，不光有各式各样的保加利亚当地及周边旅行项目，他们还提供摩托车爱好者的骑行旅游，我和Daniel都很爱摩托，希望以后有机会能参加他们的摩托车巴尔干旅游😆😆撰写日期：2019年12月27日

It's exciting to see the Thracian tombs and rose museum. The tour guide Krasi is soooooo nice! He made the whole trip done smoothly and provided plenty of information. It's the best tour I've ever had! Highly recommended!

This one is for the history & archeology fans…
The things you want to know: Pick up was on time at our location, travel was in a comfortable vehicle and stops for stretching legs, toilets and refreshments were planned in so absolutely no need to worry about any of that. It is a long day but it is worth it…
Our Guide: Hugely knowledgeable and clearly passionate about his subject. Time passed quicker on route simply because of all the information he was able to impart. Spoke very good English so easy to understand and equally happy to take plenty of questions. Good luck asking him something about Bulgarian history he can’t answer!
The Trip: The first stop is just a teaser and then on to the museum. Having the guide is essential, the artefacts in the museum are brought to life through the knowledge of the guide. Stopped for a quick bite and then on to the other tombs. These tombs were all unique but all fascinating and amazing giving an incredible insight into Thracian culture.
Should I go? Well, if history is your thing, when else are you ever going to see and enter burial tombs from the 4th century BC? Or spend time with an expert in the history of Bulgaria or Thrace in particular?

This was a full day, small group, tour into the valley of the roses, which is also known as the valley of the Thracian Kings. If you are interested in the history of Bulgaria, early or modern, then this tour is for you. This amazingly fertile valley with its fields of roses and lavender is also the home to tumulus burial mounds of the Thracian Kings. A longish trip from Sofia provides the time to set the context for what we were about to see.
Meto, our guide, was passionate about his subject and was a font of information on the history of the area and of Bulgaria in general. Our conversation covered history, archeology, geography, and economics. Once Meto realized that we were really interested in Thrace and its part in Bulgarian history, he was prepared to give up the lunch break and free time to fit in a visit to two extra tombs.
We had seen some of the artifacts relating to the Kings of Thrace in the National Archaological Museum in Sofia, and thus it was a privilege to see the actual tombs and gain an insight into the scale and drama of their creation and the process of their discovery. Even a wet and blustery day didn't dampen our pleasure.
This is a long day. The journey from and back to Sophia is three and a half hours each way, but we felt it was well worth it. It is a fascinating, worthwhile tour for those people who are truly interested in contextual history.
Meto, our guide, was passionate about his subject and was a font of information on the history of the area and of Bulgaria in general. Our tour guide, Metodly, was wonderful -- engaging, knowledgeable, and fun. We learned about ancient Thrace and about modern Bulgaria. In addition to touring the tombs and other sites, he took us to an archaeological museum and led us to the most interesting historic (and prehistoric) artifacts. It's great to visit a museum with someone who already knows the collection and can direct your attention to key items. He has a love for history and ancient culture, so the tour was never dull.

The fact that these tombs are under-recognized is a shame. There isn’t a huge museum or complex here, but the display and artistic accomplishments are well worth the time to go through it.

I was surprised that more people were not visiting the Valley of the Thracian Kings. It is so integral to the part of the history of Bulgaria and Meto, my guide, made the experience come to life. This tour was one of the highlights of my month-long trip.

The trip is fantastic opportunity to learn about the history of ancient Thrace and the culture of its people through the tombs and artifacts. The valley is also offers wonderful views of the surrounding mountains and historical monuments. Kazanlak is also a vibrant and colorful town with rich history.

Ha sido una excursión fantástica si te gusta minimamente la historia o la arqueología. Las tumbas te llevan a otra época y cada una es distinta.
También atraviesas el valle de las rosas. Aunque en esta época no están en flor, el paisaje es increíble.
Mi guia, Methodiy, fue genial, muy informativo y también muy flexible en lo que más me interesaba visitar.
