Our guide Eduard was very nice and the hike was a very pleasant and peaceful one. He gave us plenty of information about the mountain and other facts about Sofia. Overall we had an amazing time.

Trip was amazing and so worth it! The tour guide Eduard was awesome. Appropriate walking pace and interesting stories to share.

As a beginner he guide was very helpful. He even brought his hiking sticks to give out to anyone who needed it. The guide has a really passion and love for the mountains and it really shines through during the tour.
I would highly recommend doing the tour in hiking boots and with a raincoat.

Super nice trip and a beautiful route ! Our guide (she) picked us up, p some beautiful blues music in the car and the spot she showed us was astonishing!

I would highly recommend this trip. We only have a few nights in Sofia so a half day adventure was perfect for us. Great tour guide, Edward, guided us on a beautiful walk through the forest to a wonderful view of Sofia. We saw the stone river. A truly incredible sight. Never seen anything like it! Edward is very knowledgeable and we had a great chat on the walk. I would recommend wearing good walking shoes as some paths are uneven as they are original Roman paths!

Thank you very much for these kind words! Yes, the roads from the Roman empire are a bit rocky, but with city shoes is doable as our experience shows.

Très bon accueil de la part du guide, qui donne beaucoup d'explications et qui est vraiment très chaleureux et arrangeant !! Bonne humeur garantie et une randonnée à la portée de tout le monde et dans des chemins au frais en forêt.
Très beau point de vue durant la randonnée, idéal pour les photos.
Je conseille fortement ce guide et ce tour, tout est incroyable ! N'hésitez pas un seul instant !

Thank you to Teodora for a fantastic experience. She picked us up promptly and was a great tour guide. We really enjoyed the walk and would recommend it to anyone visiting Sofia!

Prachtig uitzicht over Sofia en aangename wandeling doorheen de Vitosha berg. Eduard is een heel vriendelijke gids!!!! Onvergetelijke ervaring.

We took this tour on a Saturday, during our stay in Sofia.
The 2 of us were the only participants this day and we were promptly picked up from a location close to our hotel.
The tour is exactly as described in the guide, but it does not convey the passion and knowledge Eduard has for Vitosha, he has discovered a beautiful, peaceful route through the forest following Roman roads (which can be a little stony in places), he adjusted the pace according to our fitness levels. The viewpoint is spectacular and very quiet, providing an amazing view of Sofia. We stopped at 2 mountain huts on the way where we were made most welcome. Good trainers are a must. The mountain roads were chockablock on the way down which made us appreciate the quietness of Eduard’s secret route!

Hiking was great and easy enough for inexperienced hiker. Views were beautiful and guides funny, helpful and full with interesting information about the area. Would love to do it again!
