Really enjoyed Alina’s tour. From the Ottoman Empire to present day, through monarchy, communism and democracy, Alina put architecture & way of life into context. She gave us good value for money lasting 4 hours and a head bursting with facts and opinions. And stumbled upon Romania s Orthodox religious leader arriving at church

Learnt a lot about a city and country we knew little about. Alina was brilliant and brought huge enthusiasm and knowledge to what could have been just a 'history' trip. She shared so much and answered every question we had. Also nice to be just a couple, rather than a group of 10 or 12!!

Alina the guide picked me up right on time at the hotel and proceeded on a 3 hour walking tour of Bucharest, she took me to all the main atractions and shared many interesting stories on the history of the city. We even got to ride the subway train for 2 stops, thank you again Alina for a wonderfull experience.

We had a guided tour with Alina. We were lucky enough to be the only ones on the tour. Alina was very knowledgeable and lovely and happy to share her vast knowledge and answer our questions. We would definitely recommend this tour and enjoyed learning lots about Bucharest. Alina was very friendly and put us at ease and nothing was too much trouble.

Let me start with Alina, our host who took us on this most wonderful historical tour of Bucharest. She was warm, energetic and knowledgeable and extremely well prepared. She took us around the city, giving a historical perspective of all the important landmarks situated in the center of Bucharest. If you want to get a flavour of real Bucharest in all its glory, its troubled past and vibrant present, go for this walking tour. Worth every penny of your money spent.

Alina was great and we learnt so much about the history of Romania. I would recommend this tour for sure. She was extremely knowledgeable and showed us many historical buildings with detailed stories behind them. A definite for all heading to Bucharest

If you are in Bucharest and are interested in learning the history of the city and the country, you must book this company. Our guide was nothing short of amazing and made our four hour tour seem like an hour. Her animation and love of history and her country was infectious and we were sad to say good bye at the end of our tour.
