Andrew was brilliant and attentive to all our needs - he knew the area so well which really helped when I had an injury and had to take a more gentle route down. We are not terribly experienced hikers but would say it was a moderate hike. The landscape was stunning and the cabin we stayed in Padina was comfortable with good food. Andrew was extremely knowledgeable about Romania and its history, and gave us a very detailed overview of the area which made the castles all the more interesting. We really appreciated how personalised the tour was and had a fantastic time. Highly recommended!

Though we didn’t had a great start due to bad weather, but kudos to Dima, who made it happen. It was an experience of a lifetime. Stayed at the top of the peak (Omu Hut - highly recommend) with basic amenities in place. Breathtaking views, personalized trek and delicious sandwiches made by Dima’s mother. Highly recommended trip to anyone visiting Romania.
