Very impressive

This was a very well organized tour. The tour guide has you meet 1/2 hour beforehand in order to gather the group and get you into the building. The process is much like going to the airport, as you need to have your passport with you, and go through security. Once you are through security, the guide hands you off to a parliamentary tour guide. You will only see about 5% of the building, but it is very impressive. Walk the boulevard when you’re finished.

Poor and misleading information

We thought we were paying for a private guided tour of the palace.
Location meeting point was difficult to find. ‘Guide’ took us in and then disappeared.
Avoid and do your own thing.

Hi, You thought you were paying for a private tour? You paid 20 dollars a person with ticket included ( 13.5 dollars) and you thought you paid for a private tour? We are also very curious where on description is says anything about private tour? On the other hand , what you did is meeting our greeter who took care of everything , introduce you to the guide inside , you did the tour as listed . So, your complains have no real base just because you didn't read properly the description. However , " do your own thing" is won't work at the Parliament . You need reservation made ahead of time and you can't walk inside on your own. You have to be included in a group with a guide.

Wrong meeting time

The meeting time was at 15:00 on Trip Advisor, then the guide told me that I should arrive 30 minutes earlier. But that was not indicated anywhere on the description of the visit or on the ticket.

It is not the wrong meeting time. It says , clear , on the voucher , meeting time half an hour prior the starting. You showed up at 3 pm when the whole group was already inside. It is funny how 35 people understood where and when to arrive , went in and did the whole thing normally. Two people ( yourselves) arrived at 3 pm on the dot and of course you missed it . You do the math.

Company should improve clarification about meeting point.
I contacted the company the day before and told me that the guy who will led us to the entrance will have a shirt with the company logo, but not logo not nothing.

A lot of time wasted before tour atarted

We booked the 1pm tour and turned up at meeting point at 12.30 as requested by organiser. But then there was a lot of waiting around and time wasted by lethargic security. The tour started at 13.45. As we had a short stop in Bucharest we tried to cram as much as we could so paid here to get tickets in case there's none available when we get there. But we still had to wait for people who just turned up on the day and bought their tickets there and then. I understand that tickets are not guaranteed on the day, but if you have more than a day in Bucharest just check in the parliament first. We had to leave halfway through tour for the airport, as we understood that the 90 minute tour would start at 13.00 and end by 14.30, that proved too optimistic on our part.

No Show Tour Guide

Tour operator was a no show. Managed to take the tour by standing in queue for open spot, then paying separately. This was a ripoff.

Unannounced abbreviated tour

The logistics of our visit (meeting point, tickets, etc.) were fine but the guide inside the parliament palace gave us only an abbreviated tour that did not even include the chambers of the two parliamentary bodies. Some friends who toured the building on the same day on a tour arranged by our river cruise company were shown those chambers. Very disappointing as the parliamentary chambers are the main function of the building.

Unfortunately this is out of our hands. It's an institutional building, if they want they can delay the visit or shorten it or close it unannounced... We arranged our tours after their schedule not the other way around

Le plus grand monument administratif d’Europe

Magnifique bâtiment à visiter, guide qui parle très bien l’anglais, compréhensible pour des jeunes français. Une visite de 40minutes qui manquent peut être un peu d’anecdotes historiques mais pas de détails sur les matériaux utilisés .

An easy, well organised way to see the Palace of the Parliament

Very easy way to see the Palace. You can probably do it cheaper on your own but the price is still good value and it saves the hassle of trying to organise everything yourself. You need to be at the meeting place 30 minutes before the tour starts. Very well organised. Bring your passport otherwise no entry. Tour itself is interesting, and you get to see most of the major rooms on the first two floors. 70 per cent of the building is unfinished but what is complete is impressive, and built exclusively with Romanian materials.
