This was a great tour that had us learning and seeing a lot of San Salvador. We Learned many different things from history to modern day.
Had some walking and some shopping which was fun.
Our tour guide even took us to grocery store to recommend some Local food , coffee and rum!
Had a blast and would recommend this tour for a good way to see San Salvador and still have time to explore on your own.

Señor Eduardo was great and ver professional
From the moment we met. It was very clear that he loves his job and loves sharing his knowledge and showing his country to tourists.
The tour was amazing and exactly what I needed when you’re visiting a country on a very short duration
The visit to iglesia de rosario was absolutely perfect
As he continue to describe every little detail about the place, as well as the history of it ( he knows all the tricks and the best spots to stand and take a great photo)
When we went to the market , I was able to see is loved by everyone
He goes above and beyond to ensure that’s j hi enjoys the visit
100% recommended- i would do it all over again

My wife and I recently did the half day city tour with Edwardo.
We are tourists passing through El Salvador and wanted to see as much as San Salvador as possible in a safe and time efficient manner. For this purpose, Salvadoran tours was fantastic. The various city sites are not located within walking distance to each other so to have a vehicle drive us between them allowed for us to cover quite a lot of this city in a limited amount of time. Also having a guide with us gave us a additional sense of safety which allowed us to relax and enjoy the day more.
However, what really made this tour stand out was the expertise of our guide Edwardo. A Salvadorian himself he was able to provide so much context into the city and the various sites we visited. It was also interesting to get his perspective as a local on El Salvadorian culture and its current political situation. He had an infectious enthusiasm as well as a good sense of humour. Overall we had a fantastic day and saw and learned so much. Thanks Edwardo.
Would have no hesitation recommending this company to others.

I loved this tour so much. In recent decades, San Salvador has garnered a less than sterling reputation. However, El Salvador's capital is really a lovely Central American city with a number of leafy, green neighborhoods in the west and lovely architecture in the historic city center. Eduardo was my tour guide, and he could not have been more accommodating, kind, and knowledgeable about his city and country. I so appreciated his special insights, and would be so happy to travel with him the next time I am in the area. He would even offer tours to Honduras and Guatemala. Hoping to return someday and take him up on the offer. You're in great hands with Eduardo and Salvadorean Tours in the oft underrated city.

First and foremost, Benjamine (Benji) is an incredible tour guide. He knows how to read his guests and structures the tour around their interests. The knowledge that Benji presents is incredible. He takes you to safe places to stop for food or to stretch. He avoids tourist eating areas and took us to a Mercado which was a good insight into how people shop.
Behind the scenes, Mayra ensures that your trip is on time and she is always available. I made a friendship in El Salvador and Mayra coordinated two pick-up spots with no problem.
The city tour was insightful and Benji took us to the main points but also took us to the local areas where we could have a drink. You have to be open-minded and not expect something luxurious if you want an authentic experience.
In short. The attention to detail, service, and knowledge makes this an amazing experience. I do not know how someone else would feel if they are expecting luxury and "hip" spots. I am sure Benji could have taken you, but that would be a waste of time and an amazing experience.

We arrived at San Salvador International airport with half a day to spare before our onward flight to Belize
We wanted to see San Salvador and while trying to pass immigration we have been recommended to check with
STOP OVER EL SALVADOR (Office at the arrival area) first. This was very good advice.
We booked a tour for 2 for half day and received a VIP Service we never expected.
A well conducted city tour with a private car and guide.
The guide was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic to show us the city and explain the recent history.
We felt soo well taken care.
Highly recommended. I would even suggest to add enough stop over time when passing San Salvador just to do the tour.

I had a 4hr tour with Eduardo. It was such an amazing experience. He was very punctual and friendly. I booked a group tour as a solo traveler, but ended up being the only person on his tour. So, in essence, it was a private tour. After taking a short time to get to know me and to let me know about himself, our tour officially started. He began telling me about the road we were on and its historical significance. He also found ways to show me how Salvadorian culture is truly intertwined with the rest of the world. We walked through the old part of San Salvador, talked about the architecture, and the culture now versus then. Eduardo was very engaging and ensured that he didn't just talk at me; it was more like a conversation with a buddy. He took me through the square--saying hello to friends he's made over the years. It was very personal! It was like an old friend was showing me around town. The tour focuses primarily around the square of the old town, and it has so many stories about it! Eduardo is such a good storyteller. Eduardo is also a very talented photographer. He knew when to suggest photos and at what angles. My 4hr tour ended up being extended not only because I told him I had extra time that day, but also because of traffic.
Please keep in mind that the traffic in El Salvador can get very bad. Eduardo, and really all tour guides, can not control the traffic. So, even though you might have short tours, don't stack your days too heavily because traffic will slow you down.

We are arriving on Thursday October 3 at 2:00pm. I saw in one of your visitor reviews that you can come and pick us up at the airport then drop us at hotel for check in then do the tour of the city with us?
