很棒的旅行
我们在巴拿马的El Valle进行了一次很棒的旅行。在丛林(瀑布前)的滑索，蝴蝶天堂，以及在小溪边的一顿很棒的午餐。辛西娅细心地为我们做了一整天的后勤，恩里克是一位出色的导游。多么有趣的一天!

We had a great experience on this tour. Our guide, Paola, was so knowledgeable about all the different flora and fauna in Panamá. After getting picked up at our hotel, we were driven to Gamboa to board a small boat. We went to Monkey Island in Gatun Lake where we were greeted by Capuchin & Tamarin monkeys. The Tamarins were tiny and a bit shy, while the Capuchins were lively & sociable jumping onto the boat and scampering among the passengers. I liked that Paola told us not to feed them, so they don’t end up becoming aggressive later. I noticed other reviews of different tours where people fed the monkeys. We saw and heard Howler monkeys high atop some trees.
We experienced a hard rain enroute to the dock. They were prepared and gave us ponchos. We did get soaked, but that’s to be expected in a rainforest! Once we were back on dry land, we dried off quickly as the tour proceeded.
Next, we headed to the Atlantic side of the canal. We walked over to observe a ship moving it’s way through the locks. It was fascinating. On the walk back to the tour van, Paola spotted a 3-toed sloth hanging upside down from a tree. It’s somewhat rare to see a sloth in the wild (there is a sloth sanctuary where you can take a tour).
After returning to the van, we went to Fort San Lorenzo which stands at the mouth of the Chagres River and the Caribbean Sea. Paola has such a wealth of information not only about the fort, but also the history of Panamá and it’s different peoples and cultures. She said she loves history and it clearly shows in the way she vividly paints a picture as she describes what we’re seeing. Before touring the fort, we were served a delicious Panamanian lunch of stewed chicken, rice, beans, coleslaw and plantains. It was delicious and relaxing as we ate our lunch overlooking the beautiful view of the mouth of the river. We were visited by a very brazen coati they’ve named Lorenzo. He was not shy as he came up to us begging for food. A second coati wandered up, but sweet Lorenzo got angry and growled, snarled and chased away the intruder.
After the fort tour, we headed back to our respective hotels. The tour was approximately 7 hours. Our driver was great, too. I think his name was Vincent? Very safe, helped set up our lunch and tried to chase off Lorenzo when he got too close to our food.
Thank you both for a wonderful day! We will cherish the memories on our first time trip to Panama.

Well organized, never rushed, informative tour. The tour guide, John, was professional, knowledgeable, funny, and clearly concerned that everyone had a good time. I highly recommend it and would do it again happily.

I went to this trip with my foreign boyfriend (I'm Panamanian), and both of us loved it! Enrique, our guide, was super nice since the beginning, visionary and full with energy, he knows a lot so you can ask him anything about Panama. The whole structure of the trip shows a very nice insight of the Panamanian nature while not being too exhausting. You travel to each place with a bus, and in each place you do not need to be in a fit condition. We saw monkeys, sloths and a lot of birds during the trip. I think it's also a quite family friendly trip. 100% recommended. Looking forward to more trips with Enrique in the future, Greetings from Germany!

This is a really excellent trip.
Great email communication with Paulo the night before to explain what time and where we would be collected.
We went first to Lake Gatun - there is no restroom access until after this part of the trip so have a safety visit to the bathroom before you leave the hotel. Bring some bug spray and bottled water as there are some insects around and it's hot! The boat trip was awesome. Saw 3 kinds of monkeys, crocodiles , lots of birds - including a toucan. You get to travel in the Panama canal which is cool!
Take some money with you as the first stop allow restroom access and the chance to buy a snack (useful if you have a really early pick up and haven't had breakfast) or a cold soda $USD 2
Then onwards to Agua Clara locks - this is fabulous as we saw a ship coming through and loads of space to stand and watch without the big crowds at Miraflores. We watched the film (offered in English or Spanish as 2 different showings). There is a nice gift shop and soda machines where a can is only $1 but only takes change.
Finally offer to San Lorenzo for a lovely lunch overlooking a beautiful spot. We watched pelicans, parrots and leaf cutter ants. The food is delicious and there is loads of it. The hot sauce is VERY hot but tasty - be warned!
The guided tour around the Fort is interesting, there was time for us to explore afterwards which was also interesting. I took binoculars which was fab as I could use them all day - esp watching the parrots and mot mots at San Lorenzo
Paulo was a fantastic guide - incredibly knowledgeable and well prepared. She speaks amazing English!

The diversity of activities provided a good sampling. We especially enjoyed riding the small boat on the Panama Canal. Saw multiple types of monkeys; our boat captain was good at calling them. Our guide, Enrique, was excellent, very knowledgeable and humorous. We should have watched the film at the canal dock, as recommended, because there was not much history, etc posted elsewhere. Lunch was delicious and plentiful.

The tour was very informative, and we got to see beautiful nature scenes. Paola, our guide, was very energetic and helpful. Food was delicious!

This tour was amazing! I highly recommend this company! Our tour guide, Enrique, was very nice and explained to us in detail all the biodiversity and history of Panama. We got to see sloths, monkeys and some birds as well.

You can book directly via the tour operator’s website (Panama Day Trips). They usually release single spots about one month in advance
