Excellent service from hostel pick-up to flight to Flores and home again to Antigua in one long day. Henry, our guide, picked me up from Flores airport, and we met the rest of the group. We took a leisurely drive to Tikal National Park via a charming breakfast stop. Alex was a careful and very safe driver - well done.
The Tikal National Park was amazing despite the torrential rain! The Mayan ruins are simply outstanding, rising up above the rain forest/jungle so majestically. It was an amazing day, with some time to rest and shower at Tikal Go's office in Flores by the lake. Wonderful and highly recommended. Thank you Tikal Go!

I booked a day tour from Antigua via a plane transfer from Aurora to Flores. From the initial contact and throughout the booking everyone was really helpful and professional. I must say that the whole process was seamless. We got a morning shuttle transfer to Aurora, then a twin Barron flight to Flores, a tour of Tikal with return to Flores and a flight back to Aurora and finally a shuttle to Antigua. We did it this way since we only had few days in Guatemala and wanted to see Tikal as well. If you have time I recommend staying a night in Flores. I would also recommend to get Heli transfer from Antigua to Aurora. Traffic can truly be a nightmare in Guatemala City and those 20 miles can take forever.
Our drivers Fernando and Antonio were great. Roel our tour guide in Tikal was awesome, really friendly and knowledgeable. He made it a really fun day for us. Thank you!
Our pilot Jairo was really good and safe. My wife is not a fan of small planes but his flying skill was second to none and she didn’t even notice the flight. We also came back to Aurora just after the dusk so a little bit of night flying and night landing to top it off. Jairo made it really smooth for my wife. Lastly operations manager Alex was always there if I had any questions. Overall we had awesome trip and great experience with TikalGo. Couldn’t recommend the company enough.

Amazing trip and very well organized by TikalGo. We didn’t have to worry about a thing. They even had a shower available for us to use before flying back to Antigua in the evening time. Our tour guide did an excellent job as well. The lunch we had in the park was amazing too.

What a whirlwind day coming from Antigua! Tikal Go took care of everything including transport and flights, and I really enjoyed the tour. I took so many photos, and Celvin, our guide, was knowledgeable and friendly. I knew it would be a tiring day, but absolutely worth it.

Excellent service for Tikal, we went from Antigua and they arranged everything to take us and return us without any problems, although the return flight could be earlier. Our guide Dany and driver Melvin were the best and they dedicated all the time in the world to us and are super professional, I would definitely recommend them for any excursion they offer in Guate.

Exceptional service. Even on Sundays Roman answered me. Just Wow. Likewise, the guide Roel has a lot of patience, knowledge and experience. Beautiful memories of Tikal

The guide was great, but the company needs some work. There was minimal communication and I didn’t know what language my tour was going to be in- it was not in my first language which was sad. They didn’t communicate return transport plans so i texted to see what to do and was told the same driver was picking me back up. When we landed, I was left alone at the airport for over 30 minutes waiting for the driver because they didn’t answer. When they finally answered, it turned out I had a totally different driver and my driver had my name written as a man’s name on his sign (both my first and last name were incorrect and misgendered) and asked me how to get to where I was staying (I’m not from here so I didn’t know). The van smelled bad.
There are several things they could do to improve the experience:
- It would be great if they provided bug spray since you can’t take a full container on the plane.
- snacks were NOT provided as advertised (you could purchase them at Tikal, and there was no cooler)
- the communication needs to be better.
If I were you, I would skip this tour company and book stuff on your own. You’ll save like $100 and you’ll have a better experience

They contact me the day before the trip about the picking up details (3am in the morning). The driver arrived very on time. Got picked up at Flores airport - turns out I'm the only guest on the tour. The tour was great. The guide told me a lot of knowledge about Mayan culture and the city of Tikal. We also caught sight of many animals, including spider monkeys, a few birds, Guatemala racoons and Guatemala turkeys. The entire trip was fantastic. I would recommend.

This was THE ABSOLUTE BEST! My boyfriend and I had a private tour with Benny and we are blown away! Everything from online booking, to online chat, preparation communication, all the way into the tour was spectacular! Benny has SO much knowledge about the history of Tikal and surrounding area that we felt like we took a mini course at college. His knowledge and English vocabulary to express this knowledge was impeccable. Thank you so much for one of the most memorable times of our lives.

Fantastic organization. All went smooth. Pick up in Antigua right on time, comfy ride with professional driver. Quick flight to Flores and then super easy to spot Roel (our guide) and Louis (our driver) who took us to Tikal. Again nice ride, super comfy and clean van, professional and well mannered driver. Then visit to Tikal: Roel is the best guide ever. We had an amazing experience and it’s all thanks to him. He has tons of knowledge, speaks great English and made our experience very special. Thank you Roel for making our day special.
