The tour was great. My tourguide Mikhail was very helpfull, good at giving information in an interesting way and design the tour around, what you find interesting. If you want a quick way to see Odesa, this is a good way to do it.

I booked this tour for two of us around Odessa. The price was good and I made contact with the company via WhatsApp. I asked if our guide could meet us at the hotel as I was worried about getting lost. As our hotel was central that was no problem and at 6pm the wonderful Michael was waiting for us.
Michael was a really interesting guy, very friendly, intelligent and excellent English. He immediately put us at ease as he walked us through the city explaining some highlights and allowing us time to take photos. We really enjoyed the tour, the time seemed to go very fast.
It was also a very clever tour as we walked in a loop and got a good sense of what Odessa is like. We loved how vibrant the city centre was and was really pleased to take this tour since Michael was so professional and a great guide.

When we're really busy ,it's especially pleasant to get such detailed encouraging regards !
You never know how life will turn out so maybe someday we'll meet you again on new tours ...or at least some of your relatives/friends coming to Odessa either on purpose or by chance;)

Svetlana was a true story teller and we spend 2 very nice hours across the city with details and anecdotes on many aspects of the city.

Wow, what a blast we had with Svitlana! Thoroughly knowledgeable and flexible - we asked for a hybrid tour, and got a mix of the main touristy stuff, some courtyards and lots of musical history too. One of my daughters is a budding cellist, so they got on like a house on fire, and we got a free piano performance in this most quaint, cute coffee shop, which was so amazing, it nearly had us in tears. Thank you so much for a most memorable walking tour!!! Paddy, Louisa and children.

Mila was friendly, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic. We learned a lot about the history of Odessa, particular the juicy gossip behind the scenes of the lives of the city’s founders and most famous citizens.

We had the most amazing time today with our guide - Michael. Very insightful, pointing out places and sharing stories we would have never found on our own, super easy going, opened to our questions about all sorts of things and enthusiastic in responding. Truly passionate about the city and so knowledgeable. Cracking jokes and making the atmosphere very friendly and laid back :) Can't recommend this activity enough.

Unser Guide war Spitze - er hat alles daran gesetzt, uns zufrieden zu stellen. Er war sehr informativ und kooperativ - was Englisch nicht klappte, wurde auf Deutsch erledigt. Michael ist sehr zu empfehlen.
Da wir nur ein kurzes Stück laufen konnten, haben wir anschließend noch einen Wochenmarkt per Auto besucht - das mußten wir dann zusätzlich bezahlen. Wer den Fehler in der Übersetzung gemacht hat, ist unklar - der deutsche Text sagt eindeutig: Stadtrundfahrt!!!!

This is a walking tour. Because of a language barrier (we do not speak German) you may do not understand each other. Michael planned to show you something extra, but you got it like a part of the tour we provided. Sorry for that. I will send you money for a taxi back. Please contact me by egor@ukrainebylocals.guide. 2-3 euros for taxi is not much to make you enough happy.

Booked and amazing cuatomized tour of Odessa with Egor's company.
Our guide for the day was Antonia - very kind, articulate and knowledgeable about the city.
Antonina showed us all points of interest, places to eat and sung a couple of beautiful songs to us (isn't that great!).
We truly recommend this tour. 🇺🇦 ❤️🇺🇦❤️

This was the best money that I spent in Odessa. My tour guide was Michael, a medical student with a passion for telling the past and present stories of his city to visitors. He has a great deal of knowledge about Odessa and will leave you quite impressed during and after the tour. I doubt if the mayor knows half as much about the city that he is running. lol The reservation process was very straight forward thru TripAdvisor. I also follow up with a message in Whatsapp and got a response within few minutes. I believe they also offer other tours which I unfortunately didn't have to sign up for.
