Marin was an excellent guide yesterday for our trip. We both really enjoyed the kayaking tour - we stopped at a beach for swimming, snorkelling and rock jumping which was great fun !
It was lovely to finish the tour having a glass of wine watching the last of the sunset - highly recommend this tour when you are in Split.

Martin and Anton were great guides and were attentive to all. It was a bit more of a paddle than expected, choppy water at the beginning, but we did it. We expected a 'beach' at the stopping spot but it was just large rocks. The snorkeling was nice, nothing exceptional but different than other places. The rock jump was a hit with some of the group. Would have liked more time there maybe to relax and some type of refreshment would be very welcomed. Juice? Cookies? A good workout and a pleasant time. The sunset was gorgeous.

Making a reservation already was difficult since it was not possible to make a reservation by phone and pay by cash at the location without being there an hour before the trip.
The group clearly had different levels of experience with kayaking, only it was not being taken into account and we had to frequently wait for two people. Although there were two guides we couldn't split the group.
We also did not go cliff jumping at all even though it was stated in the description and we were very much looking forward to it. Instead we spent 40 minutes at a public beach and head back to the starting point.
I honestly would not recommend this company.

Dear Olga,
Thank you for taking your time to share your impressions from our Sunset Sea Kayaking tour.
We take each feedback seriously and we consider it a learning experience that helps us improve.
Thank you for pointing out info about the booking as it is a great opportunity for us to emphasize the process of booking our tours.
We are running small group tours and we put the safety of our guests as our number one priority. In order to do so we need to maintain the best control over the bookings of our tours.
We have few options on how you can secure the spot on our tours:
1. Booking through our web page
2. Booking at our office
3. Booking through online booking sites.
Just coming to the starting point is not one of them. This might be easier for you, but if you had contacted us beforehand we would be happy to share this info with you.
Everyone who is seeking to book our tour at any place (website, booking systems or at our agency) can see that this tour lasts about 3,5 - 4 hours and that you need to have at least a medium level of fitness, but that is something everyone needs to be sure about themselves as we can not know this info about our guests beforehand.
From our side we secure not only the best guides, but transparent info that, if needed, the route can vary in distance a bit depending on the speed and fitness level of the group.
As mentioned, safety is our number one priority and if the guides on the tour decide that they need to make adjustments based on their experience we will support them in that but we will take in consideration and try to use the info you supplied to communicate that more clearly.
The swimming and snorkelling break on the tour is done on one of the beaches at Marjan Park and they are all public as we do not have private beaches in Croatia.
Our sunset tour is about having fun, enjoying sunset and serene views as well as peace an quiet on the water, meeting new people as it is a group tour, learning about local life and history and just simply enjoying your time and finishing it all with a glass or two of local wine and free photos from the tour done by guides.
We are sorry that we did not meet your standards, but as I was personally there after the tour and chatted with all of the guests, I was at your disposal for any feedback on the spot and would be more than happy to be of any kind of assistance to you as we are to all our guests for the last 10 years since we been operating this tours.

Es entsprach nicht unseren Vorstellungen und leider auch nicht der Beschreibung.
Ankunft
- Beschrieben wurde ein Auto Transfer vom Zentrum, diesen gibt es aber auf Nachfrage nur bei private Tours.
+ Schön war, dass wir direkt am Parkplatz von der Inhaberin zum Treffpunkt geleitet wurden.
Einführung
- Einführung war zu kurz, es wurden nur die Grundlagen erklärt und keine Tipps gegeben wie man als Paar paddelt oder z.B. gegen Wellen Paddeln soll etc.
Hinfahrt
- Anfangs waren viele schneller als wir, die Guides haben nicht gewartet. Es wurden zwar Pausen gemacht, jedoch wenn man langsam war hatte man davon nichts, da die Gruppe dann weiter paddelte. Es fühlte sich wie ein Wettkampf an da nur die Schnellsten wirkliche Pausen machen konnten.
Wir wollten bereits nach wenigen hundert Metern aufgeben, hatten aber auf das Versprochene Schnorcheln und Klippen springen gehofft.
Land
- Klippen springen gab es nicht. Dies wurde auch garnicht angesprochen sondern einfach verschwiegen.
- Der einzige Stopp an Land war an einem
sehr kleinen steinigen „Strand“.
Hier gab es beim Schnorcheln nichts zu sehen.
Es stand zwar dabei, dass wir Wasserschuhe bräuchten, jedoch auf Nachfrage ob wir diese wirklich bräuchten, sagte man uns das diese nicht zwingend notwendig wären.
Die Schnorchel-Ausrüstung war nicht besonders gut, da sie unter Wasser nicht dicht war.
Fotos wurden kaum welche gemacht, die Unterwasserkamera haben wir kaum gesehen bzw. es wurden unter Wasser kaum bis keine Bilder gemacht.
Rückkehr
- Bei der Rückfahrt hatten wir dafür umso mehr Pausen und sind alle 5 Meter stehen geblieben.
- Der Sonnenuntergang war toll jedoch sind wir von ihm weg gepaddelt und hatten ihn im Rücken.
- Nachdem wir endlich an Land waren mussten wir am Ende sehr lange auf unsere Rucksäcke warten.
+ Gut war, dass nach der Rückkehr allen Gästen Bier und Wein angeboten wurde.

Fazit:
Bevor ich diese Bewertung geschrieben habe wollte ich 2 Sterne vergeben. Nachdem ich aber gesehen habe wie mit negativen Bewertungen umgegangen wird, 1 Stern.
Es wird zwar auf die Punkte eingegangen, aber nach dem Motto „war doch garnicht so schlimm“ und „andere bewerten gut, also muss es alles perfekt sein“.
Wir fühlen uns als hätte man uns ausgenutzt. Unsere Vorstellung und die Realität. 50€ pro Person sind mehr als doppelt so viel als wir bereit wären, noch einmal zu zahlen.

Dear Davis,
Thank you for taking time to write your honest opinion about our tour.
We take each feedback very seriously as no one is above mistakes and we do strive to do better and all this helps us achieve our goal.
So to clarify a few things, we do not have transfers for our group tours but we did have them until Covid so any information about it found online should be from that period, the reason is many people started avoiding shared transfer and coming to the tours in their own arrangement.
On your tour we had 3 guides and they were set up in a way that we had a lead guide, one guide in the middle and one guide in the back in which way we are assured that every person on the tour has a qualified guide to be at their assistance no matter their place in the group and that we can adjust the pace to everyone. If you wanted to give up after a few hundred meters or needed some extra instructions we were there for you.
The cliff jumping on our sunset tour is something we do not emphasize and promote as it really depends on the group speed and fitness level and is not part of the tour but a nice addition if feasible.
Yes, we do recommend water shoes as we do not have sandy beaches but the rocky ones and most people find water shoes helpful although flip flops can do if you are accustomed to wearing them.
As I was there all the time while we were preparing you for the tour and personally set you up in the kayakas I will say it was my mistake if we missed to respond to your inquiry about the water shoes.
To be honest about the snorkeling gear I bought the new one just in case we missed something with the one that was on your tour so thank you for pointing it out.
For the photos as it was communicated at the start of the tour that the guides will do the photos which we will send you free of charge but bear in mind that we are not professional photographers so to have understanding if they are not perfect.
I am glad you pointed out that we had enough breaks on the way back so everyone can take enough time to rest and the group stays together and to enjoy the sunset which you are right unfortunately is behind your back when you paddle back to the starting point.
And for a long time the storage to be open was in the time range of having a beer until we waited to pull the whole group out from the water and relax and enjoy the sunset.
All in all your review helped us a lot to improve our experience.

I booked the sunset Kayak as a last minute trip for me and my brother. We were the dunderheads who arrived late after trouble getting a taxi from Split (book early) and despite holding the group up the whole team made us feel welcome and forgiven.
We paddled the Pablo and his female counterpart and absolutely loved it. We've both Kayaked before and despite the mixed group we're encouraged to make the trip our own - powering forward and taking in the sights along the way. The scenery is stunning, both guides shared wisdom, insight and family stories with us. They created a friendly, fun and inclusive atmosphere that really made the whole experience fantastic. The paddle isn't too tough and it's possible to stay coveside the entire way round, shielding from the wind. And, of course, the sunset way heartwarminly spectacular.
I'd highly recommend this trip - for the passionate staff and truly beautiful experience. Book it. Book it now!

Blown away by this experience! My friend and I were not expecting much, but we had a fabulous time and made memories that will last a lifetime. Šimun and Antonio absolutely made the entire thing. Would not have been the same without them.

They go everyday 0845 In the morning and 1545 for the sunset trip..that is the one we did n it was fabulous..kayaking, snorkelling, swimming n cliff jumping.. our price even included our hot to the venue n return and they sent us photos..
