Good food. Friendly tour.
Ina did a wonderful job guiding us through a great experience in Split. Her personality brought the feeling of touring Split with a friend. The food was great and well timed.

Walking history and food tour with Darko Pereza
Thankfully the thunderstorms predicted for the day did not materialize during our morning walking tour!

Darko has an amazing wealth of knowledge to share with you. We began with a tour of the history of the plaza area and learned about the influences on the architecture. All presented in easy to understandand and follow information. Darko inserted plenty of his own personality and humor in our tour. Simply a joy to be around.

We experienced appetizers in the Green Market prepared by locals that included cheese, meats, breads, grappa and olive oil-all outstanding!

We continued our walk with more historical sights and sounds landing at a local tavern Konoba featuring local cuisine. Yum!!

Darko then surveyed the group for desert preferences and walked us to a gelato shop where it is made right there. It was simply amazing!!!

Thank you Darko for an amazing trip and if you get a chance to experience a tour with him jump on it! You won’t be disappointed!

A culinary delight

The title says it all! Great walking tour of split with amazing food and wine pairings. Come hungry you won't be disappointed. Our guide was also fantastic. She was so personable and you could tell she really loved what she was doing.

Delicious experience.
The guide was excellent, Hani Armanda was very kind, very energetic, she explained in details which was very entertaining. We tried a local beverage (I cannot recall the name), cheeses, chorizo, prosciutto in the market, then we had a little history lesson and finally we had lunch. We had white and red wine, then tuna pate with anchovies. The main meal was 2 different pastas and a black risotto and at the end we have several cakes for dessert. Everything was delicious. I definitely recommend the tour.

Best tour of our Vacation!

My wife and I took this tour in Split on 14 - Aug. This was an amazing tour to cap off our trip. Our guide Lucija was fun and engaging and made the trip feel like exploring the city with a friend.

We started in the Green Market where we sampled a variety of fresh local products. Then we moved into the palace and saw architecture from 5 different historical periods in 1 square.

Up next was lunch at a local restaurant. 2 wines, starters, and 3 mains meant that if you left hungry it was on you.

For a sweet finish we sampled some local gelato.

This tour is an absolute must especially if you enjoy learning about a culture through its food.

You will definitely get more value than the price on this one.

Great food tour

We had a great tour with our guide. The visit to Green Market was excellent. We sampled some great local delicacies. There was certainly enough for everyone on the tour and then some. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the Green Market. After that, we did a small tour around some of the sights in Old Town. My only gripe with this was that some of the questions she was asked, she couldnt answer. Our main tasting however was at a little local restaurant, the food and wine were outstanding and plenty for everyone to feel full and satisfied. We did not get to finish the tour however because it ran way over time and we had another engagement - so I cant comment on the dessert part of the tasting. What we did have was great, my advice, leave more than an hour and a half between engagements if you're packing your day in. Great tour, shame we missed the end of it.

Walk and eat Split

Great early evening tour. The guide, Christina, was knowledgeable and able to talk on a wide variety of cultural and historical topics beyond did. Some great insights into Split history along the way. Food was good and the restaurants were willing to adapt to allergies etc. Well with the price!

Absolutely the best way to begin your Split experience!

This walking history and food tour with “Honey” was amazing. We’ve taken walking tours all over the world, and this was probably the best. Honey was knowledgeable, hospitable, obviously eager to share insights of her native Croatia, fun, and easy to be with. The historical insights were educational, and the selections and variation of food and drink were surprising. The amount made it a challenge to finish up with a bit of gelato. We highly recommend this tour to begin your visit to Split.

Amazing tour and guide!

Incredible Food Tour

This tour was far above any foodie tour I have taken. The food was plentiful, delicious with a wide variety. I learned a great deal about Split and Croatia. I took the evening tour and the weather was fabulous. It was a treat to wander through the Palace and streets without the crowds. Go to this tour hungry! Thank you for a wonderful experience!
