This is our second visit to Split and on the last trip we had a most interesting “factual” tour that scratched the surface of this intriguing city. Yelena however, introduced us to the city through the eyes of her grandparents, her parents and more importantly her own childhood journey into adult life in a city that is more than the Diocletian Palace and Froggyland. Yelena was engaging, delightful and extraordinarily knowledgeable and “tailored” our tour around our particular needs as travellers rather than tourists. We were made to feel as if we were friends rather than customers. What an amazing 2 hours that just flew by. If you’re new to Split or returning guests, please spend some time with Yelena....you will be able to see this city from another perspective 5*****

Must do Yelenas guided tour when in Split. Joint that excellent guided tour with wonderful Yelena with deep insights in the soul of Croatia and especially Split folks. Could learn lots of details of its fascinating history, read the hidden signs in the vivid streets and heard so interesting anecdotes and exciting stories. Its worth each second of this wonderful tour. She is a treasure of wisdom for all Croatia. Never miss her when in Split!

After arriving in Split and dropping our bags off at our Air B&B we rushed off to start our walking tour and met our wonderful, charming and funny guide Yelena. She made our tour fun and informative and made the experience a highlight of the trip. Her love for the city was obvious and she really brought the tour to life with interesting facts and historical information in a very entertaining and memorable way. I would take the tour again in a heartbeat if the opportunity were to become available. Not only did she give us a great tour filled with a lot of laughter she also arranged a wine tasting and recommended a restaurant for dinner which was fantastic.
If you want a great afternoon walking around learning and laughing then I can’t recommend a better guide.

Split est une ville magnifique mais la visiter sans commentaires, sans organisation est franchement dommage. Nous avons décidé de demander à Yelena de nous guider à travers l'ancien palais de l'empereur Dioclétien. Nous avons eu raison car sans elle nous nous serions privés de toute l'Histoire de cette ville-palais et de tous les détails architecturaux. Yelena parle un français impeccable qui nous a permis d'apprécier les nombreuses anecdotes qu'elle raconte au sujet de sa ville. Yelena est une historienne accomplie et répond à toutes les questions. Nous avons passé plus de deux heures en sa compagnie et nous avons tout appris. Ne pas hésiter à recourir à ses services, ses tarifs sont réellement raisonnables. Merci Yelena.

We met Yelena through Croatian friends. Yelena made us discover Split like we never could have done. A guide is important to fully discover Split and its history. Yelena has great historical knowledge. Yelena will answer all your questions. Yelena speaks several languages and is fluent in French. Our walk through Split in her company was a very pleasant moment. Yelena is charming and smiling. The price of her service is really reasonable.

Yelena is just the best tour guide. She is informative, and passionate and knows Split inside and out. She is funny and entertaining and by the end of the tour you will be sure to have a new friend. I would not recommend anybody go to split without booking a tour with Yelena.

Yelena was an amazing guide when I visited Split, amazing personality and great sense of humor! She even showed awesome places outside the city. Absolutely worth it 100%!

We did so many walking tours around Europe, but nothing can compare with Yelena!!! For the first time we actually felt the city and its locals! We booked the tour although we are not a big fans of historic facts, and we expected something deja vu, but we were amazed and swept off with local stories, lives of the locals and the city! Thank you Yelena for the best memories ever!! Big kisses to your dogs, especially Militza!!!!!!
