This was an amazing tour. Our tour guide was so nice and informative. I learned so much about the culture and the city. Sanja was our guide. I highly recommend this experience. It is by far my favorite activity we have done in Croatia. We cooked in the hotel restaurant with several chiefs. The food was amazing. If you are in Split, do this experience!

Outstanding! The very best way to experience Split. An enjoyable mixture of history, culture, and cuisine. The cooking class for a three course meal was a highlight. So much fun and we learned quite a bit as well. Marin, our guide, was excellent: personable, funny and highly knowledgeable. Go on this tour!

An amazing walk through Split with our guide Marin who was a wealth of information on the history and culture of Croatia. Smart, engaging and funny😊 Next we were given a cooking experience in a well equipped professional kitchen at the Presidential Hotel. The staff treated us like royalty and it was amazing to them sit and enjoy the three course meal we had helped prepare. 10 out of 10! A must-do experience when you visit this beautiful corner of the world!

Wonderful cooking class. The staff was wonderful. The 3 dishes we made were excellent. Meal was paired with wine.. Also, the tour with samples from the local chocolate/candy store, pastry shop & prosciutto tasting were great. We loved taking home the local chocolates & candies. Tour of the Old Town of Split was also informative. Do this tour!

Fantastic experience!…wonderful walking tour with Matin - learned a great deal of history and saw wonderful sights. The cooking class is first/-class, among the best we’ve ever done! We made a multi-course, delicious meal, including dessert. Extremely enjoyable way to learn the culinary culture of Croatia!

Fantastic experience. Have taken classes around the world and this is one of the best. Great tour guide-Marin. The cookng class is held at a real kitchen at local hotel. Staff is wonderful.

Best day of the trip! Marin was a fantastic guide to the city and through our cooking experience. He shared history, modern culture, and personal experience throughout the day.
Milania and Nikola in the kitchen were very fun and taught us traditional cooking methods as well as faster modern options. The food was incredible and we had the best time!

It starts with a lovely walking tour of the city followed by making a delicious 3 course meal. Marin was an amazing host. Such a wonderful experience. Melania and Nikola were amazing as they taught us to cook the local way.

HIGHLY recommend to anyone coming to Split. It starts with a wonderful walking tour for 1.5 hours with a bit of history about Split and the palace and a lot of local flavor and interesting facts included. Our guide gave us a lot of wonderful local restaurant and attraction recommendations, so would recommend doing the tour on one of your first days in Split. Next, we went to President Hotel where we had a private kitchen and dining room. We started with a rest and local cheeses and bruschetta and a glass of wine. We then donned our aprons and headed to the kitchen where the knowledgeable and welcoming staff showed us how to prepare a 3-course meal. It was a very memorable experience and, with recipes in hand, we can take a bit of Split with us back home. Don’t eat before the tour. You will stop at a local candy shop, pastry shop and the green market for local cheese, prosciutto and bread. Best way to experience Split with a local guide.
