We did not go to where we had planned, Medjugorje and Mostar. Our Driver Mateo said the trip was changed and we will go on our next scheduled trip on 9/29. Trying to talk with domeone is impossible. DO NOT preschedule a tour before arriving. We could have paid 200.00 dollars less. We paid $380.00 for a Private tour and we didn't even get that. The other 4 people in our tour paid $66.00 a piece

Luka collected us from the hotel in a lovely air conditioned Mercedes people carrier and off we went.
Luka was very friendly and knowledgeable and loved his country of Bosnia. We had a great trip and he even recommended places for us to have lunch (not easy for us with gluten allergy and a vegetarian).
Would highly recommend and a great change of scenery and country compared to Dubrovnik (way cheaper too)!

I´ve booked a tour by Despegar from Dubrovnik to Medjugorge. I called them 3 days before and text 2 days after. The tour was 8am, they asked me to go 7:20 in a oil station close to my hotel. I came earlier and 7:28 contacted them that said me that my tour was never confirmed to Despegar/Hotel Beds (that text me that they said that was no show and cant refund me). I visit Dubrovinik just because this tour (religious reasons), and they destroyed the days there. Now, they dont answer me and I'm disgusted with so much dishonesty. Please DONT BOOK THEM.

Could we ask you to double-check the tour or company you booked?
We have checked every booking of our private Mostar and Medjugorje tour and all of them have been fulfilled.
Also, we offer pick-up directly from the hotel/accommodation on private tours. If you had booked this tour with us your pick-up would not be at a gas station and it would be at a time that suits your group.

We had a great tour guide who used the tour to tell us all about history of the area. He was knowledgeable and talkative which was good because it is a lot of driving.
He gave us the option to skip one stop for more time in Mostar which was probably good because we needed the full three hours there.
Our first stop was in a small town with a fortress and mosque. Nice walk albeit steep steps. We had some wine and water at a local cafe and bought souvenirs. The views were great.
Mostar was really scenic with a lot of history exhibits centered around the war which were educational and interesting.
We ate at the place he recommended which was awesome and walked around to see the sights.
He stopped at an oyster boat to let us try fresh oysters on the way back

Excellent trip with tour guide Marin (who is from Bosnia), very informative. Included visit to Pocitelj, picturesque muslim village. Definitely worth the experience. Food in Mostar is great and very cheap. People in Bosnia are particularly nice!

Our group took this day trip to Bosnia and totally loved it! We did not know what to expect but the pictures on the tour website don’t even do the country justice. It was absolutely gorgeous and the people were amazingly friendly. Don’t even get me started on the food we had…Our driver Luka was the best guide ever. Very down to earth and funny. I would totally recommend this tour to anyone staying in Dubrovnik.

Wonderful day spent visiting Medjugorje and Mostar. Our driver was fantastic nothing was too much trouble, given the opportunity to spend as much or as little time as we wished in each of the locations visited. Would highly recommend this tour.

Our driver, Danna, picked us up promptly at our hotel. We scheduled to begin earlier as we didn't want to miss Mass in Medjugorje. They could not have been more accommodating. Car was new and clean and our driver was darling. She also made crossing the border efficient and easy (bring your passport) and any time we wanted to stop to check something out, she accommodated. Medjugorje was amazing. Bring your walking shoes and water if you plan on hiking to see Mary. Mostar was an unexpected gem. Absolutely beautiful and our guide showed us where to eat and suggested what to order. Delicious! The drive is stunning. Well worth the extra money. Highly recommend.

I would highly recommend touring the city of Mostar, there is so much history here and the famous bridge and river is beautiful. You certainly get a chance to see how the 1991 war affected this area of Bosnia. I would skip Medjugorje, there really is nothing to see unless you are there for religious purposes.

Can someone please confirm this is a private tour - just say 2 people? Also we would want to leave a little later around 9am with and a short visit to Medjugorje, Mostar and Bosnia and get back to Dubrovnik at around 6pm - is that possible? We are just into having a brief look at the sites and visiting shops etc thanks

Yes you will however, you would have to check the times and duration of the mass. It’s a long day but this tour company were very flexible so feel they will try their hardest to accommodate your wishes.
