Kotor and Perast are worth a day trip. The quiet little town of Perast is beautiful. The view across the bay is so serene you could spend a whole day there. Our guide speaks fluent English and Spanish and gave us lots of interesting information. Overall a great day out.

We organised this trip to Montenegro at our hotel with Jet 2
The tour was very well organised and enjoyable. We were lucky and didn't have to queue to long to cross the border. We visited The Lady of the Rocks church first which was very interesting.
We then made our way to Kotor which is a beautiful walled city surrounded by mountains..
We had a guide who was very knowledgeable and humorous who made the tour interesting.
We had a brilliant day and Montenegro is well worth a visit

Tour guides were amazing and told us interesting stories, also gave us postcards when we left! Great views and nice small towns.

Filipe was our tour guide. He was excellent, enthusiastic, knowledgable, personable and good fun.
We are a family of four and got the smaller group experience that we wanted.
A very enjoyable day. A good balance between being guided and having time to ourselves. We would definitely recommend the company and the tour

The tour was very good and our Guide Philip and Bojana made us enjoy this tour even more. The only thing to comment is that we would have liked to be less time in Perast and a little more in Kotor but for the rest all great!

Great tour and Guide was fantastic. Mira is a native Local Guide and knew a lot about the whole region, she made herself enjoyable because she told you many things, she is very friendly and always available. He even gave us all a postcard of dubrovnik at the end of the tour. The tour is not expensive and I recommend it 100%. The only negative was that on returning we were left 20 minutes from the pile gate (where we had been picked up) and had to walk quite a bit in the heat.

Muchas gracias por su review! Somos muy afortunados de contar con Mira, una guia profesional con muchos años de experiencia en el campo, asi como todos nuestros guias. Con respecto a la vuelta, debido a regulaciones de la ciudad no es legal estacionar en Pile Gate pero los dejamos en un punto cercano por el cual pueden llegar a Pile Gate bajando escaleras. Muchas gracias por elegirnos y esperamos verlos nuevamente por aqui!

I liked this tour. It was our Guide Look and it was great. Being a native taught us a lot about the place and told us a lot of history. He is a friendly person and was very worried that we were comfortable. When we arrived in Kotor we had another Help Zone Guide who showed us the village and told us about its history. The tour is cheap and very good, you learn a lot and it does not get heavy even though there were queues at the border. I would recommend it

Gracias por su comentario! Nuestro staff, como Mira, siempre esta atento a las necesidades y requerimientos de nuestros huespedes para que su experiencia con nosotros sea de lo mas placentera! Con respecto a la espera en la frontera, somos los primeros en salir bien temprano para evitar los atascos y multitudes en la frontera en la medida de lo posible y para volver temprano a Dubrovnik. Booked a last moment group tour to Montenegro via Berkeley Hotel in Dubrovnik. Amico was very professional and immediately I got link to pay and also details of pickup from Hotel front door🙂. Our bus guide Yelena and the driver were lovely and kept us all well informed. Our city guide Belvona (I hope am spelling it right) in Kotor was also very lovely and informative. Kotor & Perast were both very beautiful. Overall a wonderful experience except for the scortching heat lol. Highly recommend Amico tours

Of course Montenegro was amazing but our guide Niko made it even more so! He energy and enthusiasm was infectious! I would highly recommend a trip with Niko!

, early start to avoid border queue. Perash was beautiful and Kotor fabulous. Interesting mountain backdrop with Italian style layout of the town. Good guide and our driver was careful .Recommended

Hi George, I believe that would be the question for Amico Tours. I believe that the guides will continue the tour but will take safety precaution. Likewise, when I started out our trip to Mostar/Kravice Falls, it started raining as we crossed the Bosnia and Herzegovina border. The tour continued even when it rained in Mostar. Our guide made sure that everyone was alright and always ready to lend a helping hand.

A short boat ride in Perast to see the Lady of the Rocks.
The van takes you from Dubrovnik to Kotor. There is a stop at the boarder to check passports. The stop was 10 minutes.
You get time to spend in Kotor (3 hours) We hiked to to a church to get a great view of the city.
You also have around an hour stop in Perast. There is a very good restaurant called Conte that was great for lunch.
Gabriel, our tour guide was very organized and nice.

Hi Yas, I am not sure how you would consider as enough time. When we went on the tour, Amico was revamping their website and re-routing some of their tours. Our Best of Montenegro included just Kotor and Budva. However, we did have a very comfortable break at Verige which provides a panoramic view of the bay right at sunrise. Though we had a tour in Kotor with a local guide and lunch break, I personally feel that the time at Kotor could have been longer. However, this is by preference as we were informed that some other tourists prefer longer breaks at Budva instead as they can sit by the shores or have a swim. The time in Kotor is just alright but if it was longer, we would have walked the walls and go up to the church on the hilltop. Ambitious but that's my personal take of how long I was expecting with shorter time on Budva :)

Hi, Same as David, I booked my tour in Dubrovnik and even though I stayed within the Walls, they asked me that I should just proceed to Pile Gate by the Mirror Monument to wait. According to Amico's website, they do have a number of pick-up schedules for each trip. However, I do not see Cavtat in the list.

Hi, I believe this would be dependent on your tour guide and the itinerary for the day. We went on our tour during non-peak period and there were only 6 of us. A very manageable bunch that are always timely for our departures that we had free time at Old Town Kotor. It would be up to individuals if you would prefer to use the free time to have lunch, look around Kotor Old Town, climb the walls or visit Gradska pijaca (the market situated right outside the walls of the Old Town selling local produce). None of my tour group ate at the restaurants as they were uncertain if their food will be served promptly. We had homemade wraps and another group brought their fruits.
