The tour guide had a great knowledge of wine, but explained it to us in an accessible way. The boat trip to get oysters fresh from the sea was a real treat.

The best part of the day was eating the most amazing oysters that had just been pulled from the sea. We also tasted some very nice wines and learnt a lot about them. This was a very enjoyable tour.

What a wonderful day this was! Great people, great guide, great wineries. We really enjoyed the morning stop to see how the oysters are grown and served - really unique. The group of folks was lovely as well - always nice to get to know others! We bought a few bottles of wine, loved our lunch and made some friends too! Mario was a wonderful guide - he won't steer you wrong!

Mario was a little arrogant, didn’t really like him. Not a good wine tour if you already know a bit about wine. Oysters were good.

Great day with Mario who’s very friendly and shares his knowledge on wine in a very comprehendible way for non-experts like me. We ended up going for the full day tour including amazing wines, oysters, lunch and company of people joining the tour. Can highly recommend!

If you are into wine and oysters, this is a great excursion. My wife and I did it on our honeymoon. The tour guide and her husband own the company and they know so much about wine and oysters and the history both have in Croatia. Ston is cool. It’s not as much fun as the wine/oyster portion of the excursion but it is an important part of Dubrovnik, so it is nice to see it and learn about it. Im really happy we did this excursion.

A perfect half-day tour including Ston, oyster tasting straight from the sea, and a visit to a family vineyard. Mela was an excellent guide on wine, food, and recent history of the region. We ended up buying a superb Plovac Mali and a fascinating sparkling, a newcomer to this winegrowing region.

We had the best time learning about Croatian wines with a very informative host. The host was gracious and knowledgeable about the wines and foods that go together. We also enjoyed the oyster tasting. My husband stated, the “oysters tasted better than what he had in the Golf.”

From the moment we were picked up we could tell Mario had a true passion for wines and how they pair with foods. Mario was friendly & extremely knowledgable-we learnt more on this tour than any other we have been on. Eating oysters out of the sea is a must, fresh & extremely tasty. We sampled a selection of wines & finished our tour with a seafood lunch stop-which was one of the best meals we had during our stay.

Our group has 6 adults, but 2 of them do not eat raw oysters. Are other foods provided on this tour?

Yes, the oysters are the first stop. There is a full seafood lunch towards the end of the tour.

Has anyone had any success booking for one person? While I understand that the tour won’t run without more people, when I emailed the tour operator, the response I got was “minimum is two people”.
