A wonderful day

Picked up at my hotel with no problems, remembered my passport! drove for quite a long time to get to the caves, but the drive itself was quite pleasant, the Istrian countryside is very beautiful. Got tickets & entered the caves. Sadly no photos are allowed or i would share them with you, but if you will take my word for it, they are stunning. the scale of the place is awesome. you can imagine them easily as the setting for an indiana jones movie. we were escorted throughout by a tourguide who was very informative and interesting. we then climbed the way out, which was very arduous and the lift was broken. this is not the cave with the little train as i had thought it might be, but i am glad this is the one i went to as it truly was stunning . We then were picked up and taken to the stud farm. we were escorted around the farm and through the stables & given information on the history of the place and allowed to pet the horses. there was a show to take place after the tour, but that was not included, and we had to get back to our driver, which was a little disappointing. We were then driven back to pula and dropped at our hotel. It was a great day, i would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone, but this is definitely not for you if you have any sort of mobility issues, as there is a lot of stairs and walking involved.
