Отлично

Отличное место.Советую всех его посетить.Попути заехать на слоновью ферму и заглянуть за кофе от цивета.Прекрасное путешествие можно закончить обедом на реке Меконг.

superbe lieu

Un lieu de rêve , surtout quand i y a peu de touristes , ce qui était le cas lors de notre séjour !
Une eau limpide ou l'on a plaisir à se baigner , plusieurs niveaux de cascades , bien sûr des boutiques avant d'y arriver ,mais ça fait aussi partie des visites !
Enchantée !!

It wasn't bad, just ok

The morning market visit was alright and the guide, while very friendly and nice, just took us around the market and pointed out things like "that's dill, that's local orange, that's organic produce, those are barbecue rats". The trip to the Hmong village was also average, but pretty much a setup of bags, purses and things you can buy from the local village with little kids in makeup selling them. I don't think the villagers actually live there. We skipped the 2nd village because it was going to be a whiskey distillery of sorts. The kuang si waterfalls are beautiful, but to be honest you could just go without a guide because it's pretty straightforward and well sign-posted. The bear reserve is also located within the falls. Lunch in a local restaurant outside the falls was pretty good; we ordered dishes to our liking, and drinks are separately charged. It was a decent experience, just not sure if it was worth USD170 for 2 people for a private tour. If i were to do it again I'd hire just a private driver, go to the morning market if it's of interest to you and straight to the waterfalls.

素晴らしい自然、文化、ガイドでした。澄んだ滝は勿論圧巻でした。(寒かったですが、十分な時間泳げます。また海やプールの後みたいに、上がった後ベタベタしない) ラオス産のオーガニック野菜・中国やベトナムからの輸入品が隣り合う市場、高山民族による低地移住での観光産業からは、エコツーリズム感や、社会主義の中の市場経済を感じました。ガイドのMr.Duyの説明なくしては、そういう感覚には到達出来なかったと思います。
来年は中国からの直行列車が出来るそうで、大量の旅行客が予想されます。滝へ入る前に日焼け止めや虫除けを落とすなど、どうかこの美しい自然を守って欲しいです。
未来にもこの同じ景色で、このツアーが続いて欲しいと思う程に、非常に満足度の高いツアーでした。

Well organised and informative

Our guide was really friendly and informative. It was so interesting to see the market in the morning, as well as the Hmong villages. Kung Si falls are absolutely stunning and we were given as much time as we needed to explore, swim and climb to the top. There are certainly cheaper ways to do this but we really valued having a comfortable minivan and as much time as we wanted in each place.

Erg beklemmend, niet het geld waard

We deden de tour slechts met z’n tweeen. De ochtendmarkt was erg lokaal en leuk, in de dorpjes probeerde ze je overal wat aan te smeren. We hadden en chauffeur en reisgids die overal met ons meegingen. We lagen bij de water, en zij bekeken ons van een meter afstand. Wij gingen lunchen (zij betaalden en kozen het restaurant, weinig keuze!) en zij zaten een tafeltje verderop over ons te praten. De privégids ratelt aan een stuk door over alle mogelijke informatie over Laos die je je maar kunt voorstellen. Wat informatie is leuk, maar dit was to much aangezien hij al begon te ratelen over de hele geschiedenis nadat we net 1 minuut in de auto zaten. Wellicht dat het met een groepje leuker is om te boeken, maar voor met z’n tweeën was het het geld alles behalve waard! Huur beter een scooter of tuktuk en je hebt precies dezelfde tour voor 1/20e van het geld.

Dear Amber, Thank you so much for taking your time to write us a long review. We’re so glad that you really enjoyed the private Kuang Si waterfalls and our tour guide, driver did an excellent job to provide assistance, information on cultural, historical and heritage and to answer all your questions about Laos. They also made sure the you see as much as possible and have a good time with us. We believe that if Tripadvisor has 2 scale of ratings you would vote us 5 star for the service. As you’re aware when you booked this tour, it’s a private tour with private tour guide and private car with private driver. I must repeat ‘private’ several times just to let you know that all the “private persons” had to spend full day with you to provide an excellent service and very informative. And all the privates combine to our affordable tour price that you booked. We apologize if this was an inconvenience to you, but we hope you can understand that we really care about the service we offer. Tour guide and driver did try their best to serve you and make sure you are safety and fun with us during your tour from the local markets to Kuang si waterfall and so on. All private persons have a family to take care, have children to be feed and you did pay them the salary. We would like to thank you so much again for your support, booked this tour and bring job to local people. However, it doesn’t seem right and fair if you compare this private tour with local public tuktuk as you did and mentioned it would be the same. It’s a huge difference and incomparable. Yes, you have the option to do that at your own without informative tour guide, no hassle free, no private transportation and unreliable at all. superb day

This was a wonderful day trip with good transport and an excellent guide. The waterfall was impressive and fell over several levels.The lunch was set on a secluded table alongside one of the ponds of the fall. Two ladies were discretely sitting on a log a few yards away from the table. It seemed as if from nowhere, they produced dish after dish of what we can only describe as the best meal that we had in the whole of Indonesia. How they managed to achieve this is a wonder! Not only that, we are both vegetarian and this proved to be no problem to the caterers.
The only downside were the public toilets which could only be described as somewhat basic.
The guide also managed to fit in several visits of interest along the way.
Well worth the time.

A phenomenal day

Personable, helpful, patient guide. Paced to fit my needs and respectful of my ability. Fabulous, authentic day at a local village, tasty, well prepared lunch...not for the faint of heart...it was a hot, long trek but I'm 76 and with a few extra rest stops got to do everything on our itinerary! Great value, affordable price.
