Poor experience. Spent longer in the bus than on the boat
I really didn't rate this trip at all. We were collected at 7pm, didn't reach the boat until 8.50pm. We were left on the dockside with no instructions what to do next and the driver drove off. I went to find our boat (which was easy enough). We got on board and boat should have departed at 9pm. Instead it left at 9.20pm. It should have arrived back at 11pm, Instead it docked at 10.45pm. We spent longer in the bus on the way down, than we did on the actual boat.

Food, while admittedly tasty, was mediocre in variety and appearance. But the rice like pudding was very tasty.

I would not recommend this trip to my family or friends.

We booked cruise dinner with AL atif tourism and we had enjoyed a lot of that night they provided 5 star dinner and also we enjoyed dance shows tanora dance and horse shows Thanks

The whole ambience was incredible, I especially loved the traditional dance and then the horse bit done by two of the crew members. It was a lovely experience for me and I definitely recommend all coming to Dubai, to treat themselves and their loved ones to a tour on Dhow Cruise.

The Arabian music and the international buffet dinner displayed made our evening the most special one. This premium buffet dinner was heaven on earth. All the delicacies and arrangements made were not to be missed.Thank you Dubai Tours

Dhow dinner cruise

Not very well organized. Lots of pushing and shoving to board the ship due to lack of organization. Your TripAdvisor voucher is not enough to board, they will write notes and give you a post it note as your boarding pass. Once you get back in line with your post it note, you're pushed by the crowd to board the ship. Once on the ship you'll need to find your own table and keep your eye on the crowd that's the only way you'll know the food is ready. Chairs and table cloth were horribly dirty (I'll post pics later). I would not recommend this dinner cruise.

Soirée Mémorable

Nous avons passé un très bon moment avec une très belle vue de nuit. le buffet était moyen mais ça reste correcte vu le prix il ne faut pas s'attendre à plus, le service est trop rapide car un seul serveur pour tout débarrasser je le comprend tout à fait. Par contre le show était super le cheval nous a bien fait rire ;-) Par rapport au personnel un simple sourire ne coute rien!!! souriez!!! dites merci et au revoir aux clients c'est la base...

Cruise à Creek

Le buffet était bon, la vue sur le pont supérieur était belle. Cependant, le personnel ne sourit pas ce qui est bien dommage pour une activité touristique.
Le "cheval" nous a bien fait rire. Concernant le bateau il est moyen, un peu plus de modernité aurait été désirable.
C'était tout de même un bon moment. Ça aurait été bien s'ils nous laissaient choisir notre table.

So-so. I won't do this again.
1. Collected us way early from our hotel only to wait for a couple of minutes for some guests being collected from other hotel. Not fair.
2. Crowded. Like just to get the most of the cruise, they would get more people into the boat maybe until it sinks. Shame.

3. Smoking is allowed on the boat which is a shame. Imagine sotting next to this couple who smokes like a chimney. Smoking should not be allowed onboard. Passive smoking is deadly. Disgraceful.

4. Plates and cups - plastic !!!

5. Food not labelled. You dont know what you're getting. And then when you eat them - yikes! Terrible.

Dhow dinner cruise in the creek

Unfortunately there was a lot if traffic on the journey up there-we were in a taxi the meter was going up up up and only half way there it was doubtful we would get there on time regardless of the cost.We had to cut our losses and stop the taxi half way and make our way home by metro as we would most likely have missed the boat and have had to pay 90dirhams back home!! The company emailed the location of boat departure a couple days before but we had only just arrived in dubai (marina) so wasnt that quick or confident in which method of transport to use it was the nitty gritty of actually getting to boat departure as no metro station nearby and in the dark and humid weather its not good to be lost/late. Company didnt refund or offer another night when i emailed to explain the journey up there. We went on a very similar dhow cruise a few days later around the marina and that was very nice way to spend calm 2hrs the food was enjoyable and tasty the dancer was amazing!!! They took our photo before getting on the boat which you can buy later. Unfortunately when we all got off boat and walked along sidewalk i fell down a gap by getty i though it was pavement my leg went down i thought oh! Whats happening i inevitably lost my balance and ended up in the water up to my ribs in water hanging on by my fingers shouting for help. Boat staff could not lift me out my husband was stronger and yanked me out. Had i have lost my grip from hanging on the pavement i could have died submerged in water in the dark as gap was about 2ft wide no room to swim-i cant swim! I have cuts bruises a very painful knee which was knocked when my other leg went in. Boat staff put iodine on leg as was bleeding and bandaged it up. 3 days later i am home but still have cuts bruises and a painful knee and sieze up when I've sat for a couple hours. My trousers got ripped off the sharp rough concrete i faced with my body when fell and subsequently got lifted out. No barrier or staff lined along to prevent it happening. Children could easily fall in the gap.Marina need to do something.
A rep from tour company came to visit me with fruit and flowers and condolences. The people are very nice. The cruise was enjoyable food very nice excellent dancer but the accident was traumatic and initially the first thing i think about it when someone memtions a dhow cruise.
I cant give a fair star rating for creek cruise as didnt go on it but the marina cruise got 4 stars as it was not their fault about the marina as its the government not making it safer.

A very nice way to see Dubai by night!

We had a very nice time, sailing around the Dubai Creek and watching all the huge buildings and all the lights. Dinner was good-we expected something better though! very nice experience !
