It was so awesome. We biked across the Angkor park plus small trails that led us to some cool temples hidden in the forest.

I did the option 2 tour with Seng as my guide.We ride with some mountinbikes across the rainforest/dschungle to visit the temple of angkor wat. This trip included some hidden temple which are not included in a "normal" group tour. Seng was very friendly and answered all my questions.From my point of view this is the best way to explore Angkor. I guess you would need a medium fitness level including some skills of mountinbiking.

It's been a leap of faith for me because I haven't cycled since childhood (about 20 years). But eventually I've got a great adventure thanks to the guide and decent tour organization.
I've expected that guide will be a real professional in cycling and route handling but the thing that really surprised me is that he is an awesome storyteller. Seng is really passionate about khmer history and culture, so he told a lot of facts and stories, while we were observing Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom and other temples. I had multiple tours in SEA region but he's a first tourist guide I've met here who's skilled on European level.
Also, Angkor Wat complex is a really crowded place in tourist season but the guide managed to bring me to the hidden temple which I explored all alone! That was fantastic!
And Seng was also very attentive to my lack of experience and gave me cycling advice, made necessary stops, etc.
Included lunch was nice.
Although this cycling tour was a half-disaster for my unprepared body, now I'm considering the new ones for other tourist trips. I've seen that everything goes fine, if organized properly.

By far the best way to see Angkor Wat*. The complex is huge so walking is out of the question. Getting Taxis or Tuk Tuk is hassle and quite costly and then you still need to get a guide in order to know what you are looking at. With Angkor cycle tour you get transport AND licensed guide for about the same as you would pay to get a guide only. You also get to see a lot of temples along with getting off the beaten path as you take jungle trails to get from one temple to the next. They even include lunch and coconuts with the package. Really is great value. I had the great fortune to be the only one on the tour so basically had my own private tour, but even if I was part of a bigger group it would not change my opinion. Guide was excellent with a deep knowledge of the temples. It was pretty cool biking the jungle trails and meant we often were alone at various sights versus being surrounded by tourists all the time. Another benefit of biking is the breeze as you get from one sight to the next. The whole operation was very professional, everyone had good English and everything very clearly explained in advance so no risk of any surprises in terms of logistics or what was included. Great contact via whattsapp to make sure I was all set in advance like reminding me what to wear, bring on the trip and how to get my Angkor tickets online in advance etc.
*The only watchout is you need to be reasonably fit and able to bike on trails. All in, its about 40km of biking over the course of 8hours with a good portion in the jungle. While there is nothing super difficult (I do not bike trails as a hobby), there are a few parts where you need to be careful due to mud low branches or inclines.

This is my 3rd Biking Tour with Angkor Cycling. Each time has been a Great Experience. The Owner, Guides and support Staff are friendly, helpful and attentive. This was my second Tour with BoBo our Guide. He is a friendly, humorous , humble man. He is very knowledgeable on Cambodia Temple history. I learned a great deal. We did the 2nd Option tour. If you enjoy mountain biking through nature and visiting Temples. This is tour is for you. When I return to Siem Reap. I will definitely book another Tour .

It was an amazing experience to go with Mountainbikes into the Forest. I have seen and experienced a lot. My guide Bobo was a local and so I not only learned something about Anko War but also about the current situation for Siem Reap and Cambodia. Bobo was always aware of his responsibility and is a really nice guy

The bike ride in Angkor Wat with Angkor Cycling Tour was amazing!! Would recommend to anyone visiting Cambodia/Sien Reap.
They accommodated us when we called them last minute for a full day cycling tour the same day. We ended up doing a tour from 8:30am-4:30pm and saw multiple gorgeous temples. The paths were very varied on smaller parts on the main road, in the jungle, on the wall with a great view! We had a super knowledgeable guide (Mr. Boo Boo) who kept us smiling throughout. As it is rainy season (September) we got completely soaked but still had a very enjoyable time. The paths were mainly flat, only a slight uphill for the path on the wall which made the 40km very doable. We got free water, drink on the way and luch with 1 drink all included in price.
