This tour was absolutely amazing. Food was carefully selected, Daisy was an amazing host and she had wealth of experience and knowledge about local cousins and food. She went beyond and above to make our evening memorable. We loved it. When I. Chengdu you should certainly try this experience

The guide was very friendly and energetic, the food was amazing, and other tour members were great too! Gave us a great introduction to the food for the rest of our time in chengdu

The food tour was great! Very good food, fun way to travel around the city, great guide Fiona. Especially loved the sweet water noodles, and the bar where we had plum wine and played mahjong.

We had an amazing time! Our tour guide was Daisy and she was super accommodating. She taught us a lot about Chengdu and China. We would have never found the restaurants we went to on our own and there was such a variety.

Really yummy food tour that allowed my husband and I to try different food types from Chengdu. Our tour guide Fiona was amazing! Super cool and really knew her food- a big thank you to her. We will definitely do this tour again (We are now following The Lost Plate food tours and plan to do more).

Had an amazing experience on the Lost Plate food tour! Our guide Jaz was fantastic—super knowledgeable and fun. The food was incredible, and I got to learn so much about the local culture. Highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to explore authentic local eats!

We loved our Chengdu food tour with Fiona; Lost Plate Tours has the best spots and tour guides in every city we’ve been too.
Fiona was so fun! She’s super friendly, funny, lively and excited about showing Chengdu’s exceptional food culture and culture in general.
We ate so well and the tuk tuks were comfortable and fun to get around. We had street snacks (crepes with spicy meats, spicy potatoes like patatas bravas), a wonton flight, 2 amazing types of noodles - sweet water noodles & dan dan mian, a banquet feast with mapo tofu, eggplant, twice cooked pork, and had some fun street snacks like rabbit head and chicken feet (optional :) )

This tour was fantastic, as was our tour guide Daisy! All the food was amazing and Daisy's explanations so informative - I really learnt a lot about Chengdu food culture. Highly recommend whether you're passionate about food or not! Absolute highlight of my trip.

We had a 9 year old in our party and he had a good time. He had been living in China for a while though and he was familiar with Chinese food. The experience can be fun for a kid i think . It all depends on their age and ability/willingness to engage.
That said, the food to taste is the same for everyone, so no special arrangements for kids if this is what you are looking for.

That might prove a challenge as the group is on the move in the Tuk-Tuks about every 10-20 minutes for the first couple of stops. You would have to coordinate with the guide. If you can't start from the beginning I would wait until the next night personally.
