it would help if your tour operators knew how to speak English. Unfortunately, we did not go because no one spoke English. We couldn’t even hard to arrange transportation.

¡Un pasa día de nunca olvidar!

This was an excellent tour that’s so worth seeing ! It’s a once and a life time experience to see a rainforest with so much beauty and greenery. The tour started off with a car ride where you are able to see the city, then a beautiful breakfast looking out into a picture-Esq mountains! Then you drive to the river and begin the hike. It’s a hike that you feel the work out but it’s not TOO hard. The view is so worth it when you arrive at La Sirena (the mermaid). If you are down, you can jump off a rock and it’s so thrilling or just go for a swim and relax while you experience the worlds beauty. Then the tour doesn’t end and you go to another river that’s beautiful ! I can keep going but 1000% worth it! Please book this and bring your friends :)

La experiencia con ellos es excelente, muy profesionales y sobre todo que tienen calor humano, no es como en otras agencias que sientes que están arreando ganado. El sitio es espectacular, vale la pena quedarse para el Danubio y anchicaya, el hotel en el Danubio es bueno y cómodo, la comida puede mejorar solo un poco, pero no es mayor cosa.

I only have one pair of sneakers with me. I assume they will be completely submerged under water? Or do I need to buy special shoes for this trip?

Las 12 o 15 horas que dice que es el trayecto, es desde Cali?

Desde Cali el viaje en bus o carro es de unas 3,5 horas, máximo 4 horas, depende del tráfico y la carretara. Primero llegas al pueblo El Queremal, que es como una hora y media desde Cali y de allí te llevan hasta El Danubio. Las 12 -15 horas que mencionas deben incluir todo el viaje ida y regreso desde Cali y la estadía en El Danubio. Sin embargo, si puedes pasar la noche en Danubio, hay varios hospedajes sencillos y podrías aprovechar al dia siguiente para hacer el trayecto por varios rios espectaculares, que solo se ven en ese paraíso donde el agua brota por todas partes.
