非常棒的一天！我们的导游Jordan非常友善。一定要试试这里的浮潜，看到很多很漂亮的鱼。海边景色也很好，坐船非常好玩刺激。做好防晒，穿好泳衣，你会玩的很好！

Left Stranded in the Rain

Do not book this tour. You can have a cab drop you for less the hassle and price. The guide told me last minute they are unable to pick me up from my resort. I already had the tour planned so I obliged and met at the meeting spot they said for a $20 cab ride. I was there ahead of time and no tour guide arrived. They finally contacted me to say they had a flat tire and would be late. The host was very rude when I asked to cancel the tour. They insisted they were on their way. It begin pouring raining, keep in mind I was waiting at a Gas Station in a foreign country due to this guide. Once I finally was picked up it was a smooth ride to the volcano. At the volcano there is no beach as described instead there is a pond like area where many people are rinsing the mud off. The water looked filthy. The lunch was not a lunch at all, instead it was a small egg roll or empanada with a soda. SMH! The guide told me she will take me back to my resort on the ride back which makes sense because it was POURING Raining. However, she did not. She dropped me at the same gas station. I explained that I had no way back from there as my phone was inoperable. They showed no remorse. Left me stranded at a gas station in the pouring rain while in a foreign country. For me, this was a horrible experience.

Interesting experience.

It felt like floating on a cloud. The initial feeling was icky and warm but once in actually very relaxing and interesting. The washers at the water were like being tossed in a washing machine but effective. I feel like it made my skin soft and hydrated afterwards. Make sure you bring tip money for the people that mud and wash you. They were naggy for it while you were eating after. Overall very happy with the entire experience, we stopped at a mango stand when we left to eat and buy fruit. That was cool also.

Great company

Loved the experience it was fun the company used was awesome and amazing.only downfall was The workers inside the mud pit they hound you for money you are REQUIRED to tip every single person there individually especially the person bathing u and holding your phone and the guy helping u inside the mud pit and don’t stare at anyone you’ll have to tip them too. Lol. They say you don’t have to but you do. They take your phone and won’t give it back to u until they are satisfied tip wise otherwise they won’t give it to u. So be careful for that. Other than that the company we actually booked was a great company and came and picked us up even they though they had to change our itinerary we actually liked the change in time

This was a fun experience. The driver and host had a bit of trouble finding our Airbnb for pick up but overall it was a great time.

Worst experience EVER!! DO NOT PURCHASE

Not sure what mud volcano everyone else went to but this is a total scam. This was a HORRID Experience!!! It is about an hr from cartegena and our driver picked up about ten ppl and the bus is tight as far as space so keep that in mind. This mud volcano since thats what we’re calling it is in the middle of nowhere. The pics make you think that you’re going to a beach (negative). This isn’t even a volcano. More like a mud pit that the locals made to get tourists money. The restaurant is a very old run down hut with a makeshift bathroom. They also had two dogs walking around. I assumed they belonged to the owner. The snack is a chicken or beef empanada with water or soda. The empanadas are cold. Anywhoo back to the trip… We arrived and it is pouring rain so we wait to see if the rain would stop..it didnt so we proceeded. You have to take shoes off and walk on rocks to get into mud pit and to rinse off. No pavement, you feel like you are on the show “survivor” You walk up steep stairs which are ragedy/unstable. I wouldn’t even call them stairs. The rails are week and the planks that you walk on are secured by mud. When we got to the top, flies came out of nowhere. I mean a tribe!!! In your mouth, ears and nose. It was crazy… everyone is swatting and they are biting you all over. I was the first one up in my group. There is a narrow homemade to climb in and one of the steps were missing. Once you’re in, two men were in to massage you. You’re so annoyed with the entire experience that you dont wanna be touched let alone be here however, we made it to this point so you might as well complete it. You dont sink because mud is dense and your feet wont touch the bottom. Some ppl in our group didnt even get in because it was too much. Afterwards, you rinse off in a dirty swamp. The photos on trip advisor and the description refers to it as a “beach” not in the least…DO NOT PURCHASE!!! All parties just want to take your money so they can live. Extremely poor place. Everyone begs for $$$

Volcano Mud Tour
Isabella was our tour guide and was great. They picked us up from our Air BnB. We were the first group on site which was great because we didn’t have to wait as long for the mud bath and massage. Afterwards, they provided snacks and beverages.

The tour was an amazing experience and Isa and the driver made sure we were picked up on time, arrived early to the volcano (we were the first tour bus there), was very organized, made sure we retrieved our phones/shoes. Would recommend to others.

Você vai até essa região do vulcão que não é bonita. Lá tem várias “barracas” que vendem salgados e bebidas. Como fomos logo cedo não havia muito movimento. A equipe que nos levou já falou que a massagem e posterior lavagem da lama já estava incluído no preço.
Vale pela experiência diferente. Principalmente se for um dia chuvoso ou nublado onde as praias não são opção

Unique Experience
You need to be prepared for this!
You will be traveling to country part of Cartagena. Poor and simple people!
But very friendly!
I love the experience, is something to must try once in life. You feel like in a pot of mud , you don’t sink, the massage is amazing, please allow them to do it. You feel like a Queen with all those friendly people helping you.
Also, let the ladies wash you, they are lovely and is the work that will give them a extra money. You can give to your guide and she will divided to all of them.
We enjoy our Mud Therapy day :-)
