Julio was our tour guide for our city tour - he was just wonderful; very knowledgeable and his love for his home city and country came through as he explained how Medellin survived the "drug cartel" years and how the city is thriving today. We were able to go up on the cable cars and escalator to see the 'communes.' This was so very interesting! We also had a great lunch with the locals and got the perfect overview of Medellin's history and culture. I highly recommend this company if you need a tour; we were so impressed that we have passed Medellin City Services contact info to our travel agent so more people from the US can have such a great experience.
