We took 4 tours (Guatape, private city tour, Communa 13, organic coffee farm) with this amazing tour guide over four days. Over that time, we felt deeply embraced by Ana's concern for the safety of each of us and her personal commitment to our learning about the history of Medellin and Colombia. As a journalist, the amazing Ana told the story of Medellin’s difficult history with nuance and honesty. Our group ranged in age from two years old to eighty, Ana brought her warmth and attentiveness to each of us. Her English is impeccable. When glitches occurred (the cable cars stopped functioning for a time) she found alternate solutions with calm and creativity, and even attended to our need for food. I could write a book, but will end by saying you will not find a better tour guide anywhere! The drivers were also friendly and responsive.

We had an absolutely fantastic time learning about the city and its culture with our tour guide Ana. She was extremely informative and friendly. This tour was definitely a highlight of our trip.

Went to Medellin by myself and Carlos was the best tour guide! I felt safe and had a great experience. He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, fun and made my trip that much more memorable. I saw and learned so much about Medellin, its people, culture and history. Thank you Carlos! 😊

This was my first tour and it included Arvi Park as an additional upgrade. My guide was Daniela who was an excellent guide. She knew everything about the city and its history. The tour was very informative and the highlight for me was Botero square. Arvi park and the cable cars were nice as well. As much as I liked this tour, I wound up doing many many more and all of them were of increasing quality and value. The best one so far was my coffee and horseback riding tour. That one was also done through Medellin Travels and Daniela was once again my tour guide. I highly recommend all of these tours!

Wonderful guide and great driver. Very friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable. I just didn’t feel the tour met the price. $90 a person for what amounted to a three hour tour and it was limited in what we saw. If I had to do it over again, I would have set up a tour for what we really wanted to see.

Hello, you stated that our guide was wonderful, great driver, friendly, courteous and knowledgeable etc,...that in itself is priceless! 90 bucks is too much? You got a private tour, and we hooked you up with a 9 seat van. You get what you pay for in life and from the looks of it, you had a spectacular tour.
Furthermore, we know what we are worth, all have degrees in tourism and have families to take care of and mouths to feed. We are involved in sustainable tourism and want quality tourists who come to our country to contribute to the local economy by being an asset, immersing themselves in our culture and in return, acquiring knowledge and enrichning themselves through our unforgettable experiences.
Btw, it isn't a three hour tour and you knew exactly what was on the tour and the tours description since it was clearly stipulated on the booking information and your voucher.

Had a wonderful city tour with David. He took us on the metro and the cable cars to start the tour, and it was a fantastic experience. Flying over the city in the cable cars was 100% the best part of the entire day. Not only is the transit system impeccably clean, but it also plays a major role in how Medellin has transformed itself into a modern city with an excellent transit system. I learned so much about how Medellin has become a much different place than in the 1990s. It is a safe place to visit, the people are friendly, and the transit is top-notch. After the transit tour, we walked through the heart of the city and the old town. It was a fascinating glimpse into the everyday life of the people in Medellin. The Botero statues were a highlight! Finally, we visited the Pueblita Paisa. It was raining pretty hard but still a great experience.
If possible, you should do as much of the walking and public transit as possible on this tour. I think it would have been really boring just to be driven from place to place. You get a real feel for the city by using the transit system and walking through the areas only accessible by foot. Overall, an excellent tour with a fantastic guide. Thank you, David!

I would like to go to Avri Park after the tour on our own. Will it be easy to get public transportation after the tour to do this? I don't want to be restricted to tour schedule as we may want to have lunch or walk around before going to the park. Thank you.

Hello, I hope you're doing fantastic! Absolutely, you can go on your own if you wish after the tour. We usually do the cable cars first on our city tour, but we can leave that for the end, so you can continue on your own.
Please make sure that if you have booked already or are planning to book, let us know via email or whats app, etc, so we know who you are and to attach this petition to our system. We like everything to roll smooth on our tours without any discrepancies.
