Carlos was our awesome tour guide! He was down to earth, talkative, and bubbly. He spent time in the States, so his English was excellent. He took us on a full Pablo Escobar tour, the cable car, lunch at a local spot, and a Comuna 13 Grafitti Tour. It was a full day.
Carlos explained the delicate dynamic of Pablo Escobar (how Medellin residents feel vs. the US vs. the world - glorified by TV shows like Narcos). We really learned a lot and, quite frankly, changed our perspectives on the situation now that we know that history from someone who lived through it.
We shared our stories and personal experiences as we walked through the busy districts. We always felt safe, comfortable, and happy. This tour is well worth the money.
I cannot recommend this tour enough. Carlos and city vibe tours are the way to go!

Superb tour that covered everything that I wanted to see in Medellin in a day. The tour guide, Mauricio (Mauro), was outstanding and nothing was too much trouble for him. The friendly and informative way that he conducted the tour was what made the day fun and hugely enjoyable. Highly recommended.

Ma visite en solo avec Danny comme guide, guide qui parle parfaitement l'anglais. Intarissable sur Pablo, visite de tous les endroits le concernant jusqu'à la Cathédrale, avec une vue exceptionnelle sur Medellin, puis direction le téléphérique le plus impressionnant que j'ai eu l'occasion de prendre, avec encore une fois des explications et une vue incroyable sur l'étendue de Medellín, et enfin visite de la Comuna 13, où l'on se perd avec joie dans la vie artistique de cet endroit.
Vraiment à faire. Personnellement je l'ai fait un lundi car le week-end il y a trop de monde. Mais bon chacun son trip 😁

We booked our tour a day in advance. Andres was our bilingual (English/Spanish) tour guide. He picked us up from the hotel on time and was nice and polite. He explained the plans for the day and talked to us throughout the ride about the history and culture of Medellin. At each tour stop, Andres thoroughly explained the detailed history and significance of buildings, art, etc. if you love taking photos this tour gives you a day of beautiful views, people, and culture. Eat before going in this tour…it is a long day! Wear comfortable shoes and bring COP to shop and eat during in Comuna 13.

The experience and service was above and beyond. We appreciate the attention our guide Carlos gave us.
One of our cousins was scared during the cable car ride and our guide was able to help her throughout the process.
The comuna 13 tour was above and beyond. We started with come ice cream and got background information about the street art in the community.
We really appreciated this tour and would highly recommend + do it again.

Yuly gave such a wonderful tour of cable car line and Comuna 13. Telling us the sad and difficult story of this neighborhood and its past. The explanation, history and information from the top of the cable line and it’s ever evolving changes as an old , but now new community is fascinating. And the interesting “new life” that Comuna 13 is turning into right before our eyes. Yuly brings the personal touch and her awesome personality to the tour and makes you feel

Mauricio (our guide) couldn't have done a better job. He is born and raised in Medellin and has experienced first hand the Escobar war. His personal experience and perspective gave us a very unique understanding of the history of the events and how those affected the people of Medellin and Colombia.
Plus, he was very courteous, accommodating, and full of local tips. Couldn't have gone better.
