Did the tour with Juan he was so nice, so polite. So knowledgeable about everything sing medellin. Enjoyed a traditional columbian breakfast and lunch with him, his english was great. Very nice guy. So nice I booked another tour same trip to El Peñón de Guatapé with him. Amazing time

Cesar was an exceptional guide on all levels - punctual, fluent English, generous with his time and extremely knowledgeable. We booked this tour based on previous good reviews and were beyond delighted. Cesar has extensive knowledge of Medellin and its evolution from the terror of the 1980's to its reinvention through education and art today. He has the ear of the Medellin locals and is actively involved in the rejunivation of the city, particularly with its youth. This is not a tour to be missed with an excellent guide to get beneath the superficial and understand the real Medellin.

Daniel was a fantastic tour guide!! We learned so much about the history of Medellin, the impact of Pablo Escobar and the various perceptions of local people on those topics. He allowed us our time to explore comuna 13 and was very informative about the neighborhood and it’s complexities. Thanks again Daniel!!

Wonderful tour with a lot of information to understand the reasons and the story around comuna 13 and Pablo Escobar's life. Daniel is an excellent guide, very knowledgeable and with a lot of attention to the customer. I strongly recommend this tour.

I had the pleasure of doing this tour with Cesar on a Saturday. I am glad I chose to go with this company because the tour was private, insightful, and provided an unprecedented view of Pablo Escobar's impact on Medellin. Cesar provided great anecdotes drawn from personal experiences. The tour does not only focus on Escobar, it includes a trip to Communa 13, once a notorious neighbourhood and now a collective for artists, dancers, musicians, and more. The great part about this tour is that it is meant to confront Medellin's violent past and not glorify it. The immense animosity the people have for him is perfectly encapsulated on the last stop of the tour at Parque Memorial Inflexion dedicated to the tens of thousands of innocent victims of the drug wars.

Daniel was an incredible guide. He patiently waited, because we were a bit late to the tour, and was kind enough to let us pick up our stuff from a hotel and drop us off at our new Airbnb. He even gifted us a handmade souvenir from a different region of Colombia. He gave us an unbiased explanation of the history in Medellin and Pablo Escobar. There are a lot of glorified and biased Escobar tours out there and this was not it! I highly recommend this tour with Daniel!

Hi Josh, thanks for endorsing our job, it is a sensitive topic, there has been a backlash and rejection by some locals (which is understandable given the number of victims and damage) however, this is something we carry out with all due respect, because we like history, and we believe it is something we must assume as a society. We don't glorify Pablo, it is unfortunately part of our history!

This was a very personable tour just two of us Kevin and our driver David. It was very educational and in no way glorified the life of Escobar but showed that there are differing opinions of his life. I as most people have seen Narcos and watched documentaries but the tour makes me want to learn more about the story and that of the history of Medellin.
Communa 13 was the most interesting part of the tour for me and it was great to sit at the top of the district and have a beer with Kev. I would recommend this to all visitors to Medellin. He is a very friendly guy who speaks great English and who really knows his subject.
