Could not recommend this more. This was our favorite day in Colombia. We feel so lucky to have been paired with De Zago. From the moment he picked us up to when he dropped us off he was friendly, accommodating, and so knowledgeable. We learned so much from him. The views from the top of the climb are breathtaking and we enjoyed a cold beer and ice cream once we reached the top. And the tour of the town was so colorful and fun. We enjoyed a typical Colombian lunch while there and were able to shop and have an afternoon coffee. Don’t hesitate to book this trip!!!

Such an awesome day! I’m not really an outdoorsy person but this ended up being one of the best days of the trip with a little bit of everything (steps to the mountain, shooing, multiple meals) and the best part was Diego! So personable and flexible. He gave a lot of history to the city and different areas and was just a super fun guy to hang out with and get to know. Would highly recommend this trip!

I don’t normally write reviews but I have to for this experience. We had an absolute amazing time in Guatape. Diego went above and beyond for us for everything and was always checking in on us to make sure we were enjoying ourselves which we did! The next time I go to Colombia, I will be calling Diego again for sure. I will never forget this experience, what an amazing time!

This was one of many tours I went on with Diego. Great tour guide, even better guy. Extremely knowledgeable, patent, and generous. I highly recommend them!

Maaaan oh man. I am so grateful I did this tour. The town of Guatapè is absolutely breathtaking. It is colorful and quaint. But of course the highlight was getting to the top of the Rock at Guatapè. I was nervous and anxious, but Diego gave me a pep talk before I went up. The pictures will do the view no justice. This is something you have to experience for yourself.

Me and one other friend stayed in Medellín, our flights got cancelled due to NY bad weather so we found him online and WOW. I’m happy we did we extended 3 more days and Diego took us everywhere. We did the communa 13 tour which was very artsy and Hip. We did the paragliding tour which was sick AF. Then we did the guadupe tour which was gorgeous, we climbed the rock then after went jet skiing in the lake which honestly is just beautiful and he took us to very cultural spots within all the towns. On top of all of that he knows his history about everything, which gives you a deep understanding of what has happened throughout the history of all these places. He knows all the places for best food drink as well while you are on your tour so all in all your in good hands with this man. 5/5 stars

I have been to Guatape a few times before this time but I have not enjoyed it like I did with SAT Tours, their level of attention and expertise was amazing. I highly recommend them!

I’m not the kind of person that writes many reviews unless I have an outstanding experience and this is one of those times!
I wanted to share our experience with our tour guide John (you should ask him how a Colombian came upon that name- funny story) who was very knowledgeable and always willing to help. He found the best spots to take pictures and was a great historian.
Guatape was an amazing city to visit with its vibrant colors and friendly people. And climbing the rock afforded us some amazing views of the region. A must do if you are visiting Colombia!
