We had an amazing time with MedellinDayTrips and our guide, Erika! It was amazing to see the transformation in comuna 13 and learn all about its history. Erika knew all the best spots and local artists and dancers. We added the cable car ride to the tour, which I would highly recommend! It was great to get that experience and perspective of the city. And finally, the coffee tour was a perfect end to the day. The coffee itself and lunch was extremely good and it was so interesting to see the journey each cup of coffee goes through. I would highly recommend to book this tour! Lots of fun, great communication, and a nice comfortable car. 🙂

Nos gustaron mucho las 2 excursiones, está perfecto hacer ambas el mismo día
Comuna 13 muy interesante la historia y los grafitis
La excursión al café súper completa, comimos, cosechamos, probamos el café, platicamos un montón
Ericka nuestra guía siempre amable y atenta; incluso nos ayudó a encontrar casa de cambio porque se nos había acabado el dinero
Muy recomendable!

This tour was recommended to me by a friend, and it was amazing! Yuly was knowledgeable, friendly, and taught my boyfriend and I so much throughout the day.
First, she picked us up at our hotel and took us to Communa 13, where she shared the history of the area and showed us famous graffiti art, explaining the meanings along the way. Then we hopped in the car and went to a coffee farm just outside the city. There we met the owner, who joined the three of us on a coffee picking adventure in the mountains. After eating the most delicious lunch I’ve had in my life, and trying the owners coffee made three ways, we donned hats, a bucket and a poncho like clothing item (snapped plenty of pictures) and laughed as we slid up and down the mountain, searching for “cherries” - the ideal time to pick a coffee bean. Then we went back and learned about the roasting process and closed out the day.
Not only was this day informative, but a fun and exciting adventure. Yuly was a wonderful tour guide- I cannot praise her enough! We are so grateful we had this experience and upon our return to Medellin, will definitely do this again.

It was awesome trip with Erika. She is passionate about her job, very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. She has all qualities that make her best tour guide: Organized, patient, sensitive, punctual and decisive. She is very good photographer too 😊Thanks a lot for everything you have done to make out visit awesome. Highly recommend this tour and tour company

This was one of our favorite activities in Columbia overall and most definitely in Medellin. Erika was fantastic. She answered our countless questions, made us laugh, and was so knowledgeable about everything. The art and views were breathtaking and the coffee farm was immersively wonderful! Erika even figured out a way to squeeze in a cable car since we didn’t think we would have time to do otherwise. If we are even back in the area, we would definitely tour with her and the whole company again!

We had an incredible time. Sara was an amazing tour guide. She was attentive, kind, informative and very good all around. We had a long, but a very fun day. Our group was 10 people, including kids ranging 6-11 years old. Everyone had an incredible time. We learned so much, had a good balance of learning and relaxing and a very positive experience overall. I highly recommend it for adults or for families. Great experience in an amazing country.

After being on the fence about getting a guide for both of these tours, we are so glad that we ended up doing this! Today was a fantastic day! We learned so much about both the inspirational story of the Comuna 13 neighborhood and about the rich history and taste of Columbian coffee. Our tour guide Daniel was knowledgeable and easy to hang out with for an entire day. He took care of everything from pick up to transportation and of course, the tours. Our guide at the finca was also extremely friendly and knowledgeable! All in all, a fantastic day.

Beautiful views and my tour guide Henry was super personable and relaxed. He did a great job explaining the story of how Medellin has evolved into what is is today and was very generous in sharing his culture with me while touring comuna 13….The coffee farm had an amazing homey feel with very personalized service. I felt like a part of the family and by the end of the tour I was ready to start growing coffee on my own! Very fascinating tour and also has great views from the top of the mountain.

Had loads of fun , our tour guide Erica was very knowledgeable and fun her English was excellent .and when I left my phone in middle of the tour,she volunteered to help look for it .I was so grateful I found it with her help ....

This Combo day tour was absolutely amazing!! Erica was hands down the best tour guide ever along with her boss Andres. Erica was so knowledgeable about Comuna 13 and a blast to hang out with during the coffee tour. Me and three others Amigos had an amazing day with her. The tours were amazing. I would definitely go again and again!!!
