Sam was wonderful to work with. Before the tour she followed up promptly and answered my questions. We left the order of the tour to Sam to decide and we started with the flower market after -being picked up on time. This was an amazing experience, both inside and outside the main building. Overall the tour was excellent and was at our pace. We did not feel rushed and thought we had made the right choice using this tour operator. The gift at the beginning of the tour was very thoughtful and will bring back fond memories as will having lunch at a wonderful restaurant. To us, the least enjoyed experience was the museum at the end although I did find it interesting, not so much my husband and the time at this location was just right. Again at our own pace.

A day well spent

Bharat is a wonderful guide, and we must say that the city is much more than just an IT hub if you are in the right company, like we had of Bharat's from BnM. After spending 15 days in India, our departure was from Bangalore and we had kept an extra leisure day on purpose, to grab this opportunity to know the Silicon Valley of India well. And he totally met our expectations. He gave us one of the best tours till date in India and was very knowledgeable. The day started early, and was long, but his energy level never came down - he shared interesting facts about all the attractions, took good care of our food likes and dislikes, and the best part, being born and brought up in the city he knew its history, people and places well.
We are definitely going back with a Bagful of Memories!

It appeared that the staff running this tour were surprised to see Indian clients book the tour given that they usually get foreigners only. Our experience was not great, the person accompanying us was as temporary replacement who was from their finance team and had not worked as a guide ever before while the usual guide was available only occasionally during the day. We did not learn much about Bengaluru's history and felt like we were imposing on them given that they seemed to be in a hurry to end the tour. Avoid.

Tour date: 31-Aug-2019 Review submission date: 27-Dec-2019 Accompanying staff name: Rish Supporting staff name: Sam Mr. Chaudhari We gladly take this opportunity to address all your above points in detail- 1) You made an allegation that we discriminated between foreign and Indian clients- Our response- The fact that we have more 5 star reviews from our Indian clients as compared to our foreign clients, contradicts your point. The following services offered to you and extra efforts taken by us to enhance your experience prove that all our clients are equally esteemed for us- * on your request, we picked you up from your hotel instead of scheduled pickup points and we gladly waited for you for 15 minutes outside your hotel - all of this cost us extra 45 min * we aligned an additional staff to ensure your tickets and lunch bookings are done in advance and you don't have to wait in queues * whatever was mentioned in our itinerary was provided to all 3 of you - bottled water, private transportation, wifi, AC vehicle, lunch * on top of that we also gave souvenirs to each - you, your wife and your 3 years old child * our accompanying staff took an initiative without you even asking for it and shared a detailed background of any upcoming stop so that you have an enriching experience * rather, it was you who came with presumptions, because for some reason, you called us 3 times before the tour confirming whether the tour is happening or not. We are a startup, and currently, we are only focussing on quality services more than any other factor irrespective of our client's nationality. 2) You alleged that the staff accompanying you was from finance and wasn't a guide, and the other staff who met you occasionally was an experienced guide Our response- We are a startup and we don't have a separate finance department, so we fail to understand from where you got an idea that the staff accompanying you was from finance. Also, it was clearly mentioned in your tour details that there will not be a certified or licensed guide for this tour. Only an English speaking guide had to accompany you to give you a fair idea about the tour. All our staff is highly knowledgeable about all our tourist destinations and are appreciated on all occasions by our esteemed clients. Our company's motto is to give a seamless experience to our clients so that they don't have to wait in queues. That's why we aligned an additional staff to ensure that your tickets, table bookings at the restaurant, etc are done in advance. The second staff met you occasionally to handover those tickets, restaurant tokens, etc, whom you confused to be a more experienced guide. 3) You alleged that you didn't get to know about the city's history Our response- As we mentioned, all our staff is highly knowledgeable about all our tourist destinations. On the contrary, our staff took an initiative and shared a detailed background of any upcoming stop on its way and continued to do so on arriving at that place too without you even asking for it, just in an effort to enhance your experience. 4) You alleged that we tried to wrap up the tour Our response- This is the most serious allegation of all the above and our response is as below- * The tour was of 6-8 hours, however, we spent more than 9 hours for the same and dropped you inside your hotel at the end of the tour * We covered all the locations mentioned in the itinerary, and it was you who requested to wrap it up because you, your wife and your child were tired, and your child had started crying * At few places, you declined to visit them e.g. at ISKCON temple, you wished to come out in the middle of the tour because you were not interested in temples, at Vidhana Soudha you asked us not to even stop the vehicle, and for the last stop, the museum, you said you aren't interested in museums and you all are too tired We would have appreciated if you had voiced it out during the tour. Instead you had threatened our staff with a negative review when he very patiently mentioned that the tour is getting overshot. It appears that this negative review was submitted by you just to malign our image for the reasons known only to you. Still, thanks for your negative remarks and the lessons learned from clients like you. It will help us to avoid such experiences in the future.

Had an amazing day seeing all Bangalore has to offer. Sam was everything I could hope for in a guide - professional, knowledgeable and not pushy at all. I got to see everything I wanted in the short time I had in Bangalore and overall was a great experience.

Sam, I cannot thank you enough for such a wonderful day seeing the sites of Bangalore. You are a true ambassador for your city and for India!

WYSIWYG - What You See Is What You Get, no fake promises

Let me tell you that I am a very choosy person and have high expectations for the service I pay for.
It was my parents' first visit to this part of India and they had been looking forward to explore the interesting places and experience the rich culture of Bengaluru. However, I myself had shifted to the city just some time back, and hence, was new to it. So I decided to take a professional help - someone who doesn't only know the city well, but also understands its culture, history, cuisine, traffic, visiting hours of places etc.
And boy, could I have asked for more?
As I said, I keep high expectations from the service I pay for...& BagsnMemories not only met my expectations, but exceeded them. When my parents returned, I was surprised to see that even in this old age, they didn't at all look tired after the tour. Rather they returned fresh, with a smile and satisfaction on their faces. And after listening to their experiences, I give 10 on 10 to BagsnMemories and their polite, knowledgeable and customer friendly staff, especially to Sam.
To name a few things I liked the most about them-
*There were no hidden catches - what they promised, they delivered
*They pay attention to individual needs of their clients e.g. my pure vegetarian parents don't even eat onion-garlic - Sam knew where to find such food
*Instead of tricking my parents into buying overpriced merchandise, they showed them genuine places to buy genuine products at reasonable prices
*Above all, they felt like family rather than service providers, yet were very professional.

Overall, a very satisfying experience and would love to contact them in future too.

Very Professional and Friendly Private Tour

Today was my first time in Bangalore and I only had a day to see the city. I was worried about not having enough time to visit the places I wanted to see, but my tour guide Samriddhi was so efficient and effective. I was able to see all major highlights of the city, in an air conditioned car in 6 hours despite the usual city traffic.

We started at Tipu Palace, then visited Swamy Temple, had a great 1.5 hr walk in the LalBagh Botanical gardens ... We walked around the park, visited Gowda Tower, Glass House, Bambu Garden, Topiary Garden, Lotus pond and the lake.

After the park, she squeezed a short visit to Technology Museum ( a great place spend time with children who might be interested to see how things work) and Archaeology Museum (a great collection of historical sculptures). We made a quick stop in front of famous Court House to take picture...

We finished our tour at Bangalore Palace. A must see place in Bangalore for sure. you need to pay 300rp extra to take photos and you can get an audio guide for free and listen the story of last Maharaja's private residence...

Iskcon temple was closed by the time we got there, so if you plan to visit, maybe start the tour at this temple first..

Samriddhi was very friendly. She was very knowledgeable, definitely enjoyed what she was doing and made me feel good too.

Weather was warm with nice breeze, it really helped when walking in the gardens. and she didn't complain as I made her walk hours in the Lalbagh park with me..

She paid for all my entrance fees and let me pay her at the end in USD.

I recommend this tour to everyone visiting Bangalore. She is very good and efficient. You will not be disappointed in her tour..

Full day private tour

I have just finished the visit today. True it did not last 8 hours, but there is less traffic on Sunday, which probably explains why. One clarification: drop-off at hotel is an extra 7$. Which can be convenient. My driver Devansh arrived at 8:45 as i was informed in the morning. True it is better to stay close to wifi before starting to ensure quick encounter. Whatsapp is your feiend!. No problem. At start, Devansh informed me of the work at the Tippu Palace making it a less interesting place to visit. He offered me to go to Lalbagh garden. As i has visited the park the day before (nice place), he kindly drove me to the Cubbon parc area where we spent more than one hour walking and taking. Then we went to Bangalore Palace, nice place to visit. Then to commercial street where we again walk and talk. Lots of shopping opportunities here. The temple was unfortunately closed so we went to visit an evangelic church. Then we had lunch in a typical place, good food. Then drove through a couple of busy places heading back to the hotel as i also wanted to come earlier. Devansh has been an excellent guide, with whom we talked of Bangalore and India. He spent quite some time explaining me what we were seeing and visiting. He is the reason why i give 5*. True that the trip started a bit later and costed more with drop-off. But keeping the same car and guide all along the journey, and being able to learn and exchange while visiting was a very good experience. Thanks Devansh.
