Our cooking class with Dr. Namita was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we stepped into her home, we were warmly welcomed and made to feel like part of the family. Dr. Namita’s hospitality was outstanding—she took great care to accommodate everyone’s dietary preferences and food allergies, ensuring that we all cooked something we could enjoy.
During the session, which lasted about 4-5 hours, we prepared several delicious dishes, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian, with a special focus on a traditional Indian dessert. Dr. Namita’s expertise in Indian spices was truly impressive—she explained their origins, uses, and how to blend them to create authentic flavors. We also got hands-on experience using cookware commonly found in Indian kitchens, which added to the authenticity of the experience.
Beyond just cooking, the class was filled with great conversations and warm interactions with Dr. Namita and her family, making it more than just a lesson—it was a cultural immersion. If you’re in Bangalore and love food, this class is a must! Highly recommended!

Dr. Namita and her family were incredibly welcoming and accommodating for us. She had reached out to us in advance to accommodate for our preferences, and create a menu based off of our interests. She even gave us the recipes to make sure that we could be able to re-create them when we went back home. We loved meeting her and her family, as well as her sweet dog. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip!

My adult son and I visited a private home, where we cooked Indian food alongside our hostess, Namita. The outcome was outstanding. Using fresh ingredients and a variety of aromatic spices, we prepared over six dishes, making for a remarkably delicious culinary experience! 6* experience.

My partner and I had a fantastic time. We were able to book on short notice, and Namita put together a menu based on our tastes and curiosities. She was very knowledgeable about both techniques and ingredients. The hands-on experience with her family (and sweet pets) made it a perfect mix of learning, fun, and delicious food.

It was wonderful experience at Nami’s Kitchen. Strongly impressed at Nami’s functionally organized kitchen system with lots of Indian spices.
It was fun cooking with her and her husband and many Indian dishes have been done in the pleasant conversation.

This was a really fun class and Namita is a great cook. There was a nice variety of dishes and the food we made was some of the best we ate on our trip. It was fun to hear how she sourced all her ingredients, they're about as fresh as she could possibly find.

This was a highlight of my trip to India. Namita and her family were all welcoming and so kind. The food that we made was some of the best food I had in India and I look forward to impressing my friends and family back home.

Such a fun class! Namita was great at explaining everything we were doing and gave us lots of recommendations for how we can cook the recipes she gave us. The food we made turned out excellent and was some of my favorite dishes I have ever had! I highly recommend for everyone to take this class if you love cooking or just want to learn a little bit about cooking Indian food. Namita was also great at communicating before the class to make sure we knew where and when to meet her as well. Highly recommend this experience!

Namita, her husband and the dog warmly welcomed us and we got to try delicious local fruits. After that we cooked several Indian dishes, which were incredibly tasty. A relaxed conversation with all „three“ family members created a friendly atmosphere. The food was excellent and we were allowed to take the recipes home with us.
