Fantastic local host (tuk tuk)

I did not actually have them pick me up from a cruise ship, but as an avid cruiser I am posting under this classification anyway since this would be a great shore excursion. It's the same experience whether you arrive by land or sea. My Tuk-tuk driver, Shaji, was such a great host. His knowledge of the cultural, military and religious history of the area is amazing. He even explained the meaning behind the names of places and things, and the history of the names. Not only that, he treated me to sampling of a few local foods along the way as he knows the "safe" vendors. Delicious! A very kind and helpful man and a wonderful local host.

Excellent tour

I was picked up at port and taken on a wonderful tour of Cochin by my lovely driver /tour guide who informed me of places we visited. Very impressed with the company and would certainly use them again.

Disappointed

We booked two Tuk Tuks to collect us from the cruise ship. On arriving at port we were transferred by a small coach to a lay by on the outskirts of the city where several Tuk Tuks were parked. The tour began, our driver spoken reasonable English but our friends driver spoke no English. We asked to tour in convoy which proved to be the best thing as our friends were able to listen to our guides information - without this their tour would have been meaningless Such a shame as the other postings for this company led us to expect good service and a fantastic time..

Hi Thanks for your feedback. We provide quaranteed pickup from the front of the cruise ship in an aircondition van as mentioned in the itinerary. We are providing safe drivers cum local experts. For group tours we provide an English speaking tour leader cum driver and the other drivers will follow him, all the places the tuk tuk stops together and he explains about the history and culture of the local city. We are doing the tour for many years and we perform the tour as per the itinerary without any fail. Hope you understand. Thanks

Wir haben die Tour mit Bekannten unternommen. Abholung am Hafen pünktlich und zuverlässig. Die angefahrenen Sehenswürdigkeiten sind toll. Die Fischnetze durften wir sogar einholen!
Als unser TucTuc einmal nicht wollte kam uns sofort das 2. holen und fuhr uns weiter. Wir bekamen dann einen Ersatz und bei dem nächsten Stop war unser TucTuc repariert und weider einsatzfähig. Top!

Tuk Tuk Tour

Amazing trip would highly recommend. We were picked up from our cruise ship by Sudheer and taken on a full day trip around Cochin. Nothing was to much trouble for Sudheer and he explained things as we went around. We were shown many different parts of Cochin and he managed to drive through all the bikes!!!! He even had his fan going for us which the other tuk tuks didn't so thoughtful of him.

We have a party of four, two tuk tuks: therefore we can go through small side streets; no line up going up and down tour buses and at rest rooms. We had lunch at a restaurant for the local people with the drivers. We bought souvenirs randomly as we passed street venders and picked and choose the places and duration of sites of our visit.

Rep was waiting fior us on the dockside early in the morning and transferred us to the dock gate by car to pick up our tuk tuk

We had a great trip around Cochin and thoroughly enjoyed our day

Tour was OK. Would have been better if our driver's command of English was equal to his apparent knowledge (?) and obvious enthusiasm for the job and tip he expected!

The pick up seemed a bit un organized but worked. We were taken to an industrial area where the tukTuk's were. They were older units and our guide was quite fluent in english and the tour was interesting
Our friends followed our cart and their driver was no english which was difficult
