Our Desert Safari was amazing, the company went above and beyond to ensure our stay in Jaisalmer was great. They arranged to pick us up early from the train station and provided us a great room in their guest house for a very good price. The Safari was amazing and our guide was very good. He was very fun and knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. He was also a great cook and made some of the best food we had in India right in front of us! The campsite was amazing and comfortable and we got a perfect view of the stars at night. The camel ride was so much fun and lasted quite a while. After we finished the safari the tour company provided us a room again and helped us book our onward travel and even dropped us off to the bus stop. All in all a very very good experience 5 stars. We would definitely recommend to anyone to do this tour.

I spent 2 days and 2 nights in the desert, riding camel and sleeping under the stars, it was a great experience. The company has been very professional and our guide was an incredibly nice a wise person. It is just finished and I am already nostalgic about it.

An absolutely stunning two days and two nights in the desert. Our guide Abhey was so kind, knowledgeable, friendly and open. He cooked us delicious food, took us to meet his family, taught us about the Thar desert and made us laugh again and again. Couldn’t recommend this experience more. In addition, the company helped arrange us getting to Jaisalmer and booking tickets to go to the next place, and they took me to the hospital and stayed with me when I required a shot while in Jaisalmer. They went above and beyond. Terrific company, terrific communication, wonderful people. Thank you.

If I could give more than five stars, I would! We did the 2 days 1 night safari, and it was one of the most amazing experience we did in 15 months of traveling. Our guide, Dapu, was so nice and took an amazing care of his camels - he also cooked us amazing food! The landscapes were amazing, particularly the sunset on the dunes and the night under the stars. We were completely alone, almost not other tourists during the two days, and we also visited some villages. Do not hesitate to book with them, you will not regret it, on the contrary!

Sleep in the desert under the stars whit a clear sky is unforgettable . Eventually you can try a different experience choosing to make glamping,in a camp, relaxing in a luxury tent.

10/10 would recommend this tour. We were picked up straight from the train station and taken to the guest house where we dropped our luggage and took a quick shower. After that Jeetu took us to the desert in his jeep where we stopped at the haunted village before meeting our guide, Abhay. Abhay took us 1.5 hours on camel to our first night’s camp, where he cooked us a huge home cooked meal of dal chapati and pakora with chips. We spent the night sleeping on cots under the stars; which were absolutely breathtaking. In the morning, Abhay cooked us breakfast and made us the best chai :) After breakfast, we hopped back on the camels and headed to Abhay’s house in his village. There we ate lunch, met Abhay’s family, and relaxed. We then took the camels to our second night’s camp where some Jeetu and Abhay’s sons joined us. They made us a huge dinner before having a bonfire and heading to bed. The next morning we were cooked breakfast and chai, before we headed back on camel to meet the jeep. This tour was a great experience that I don’t recommend missing out on. Abhay and the team were very friendly and welcoming and taught us lots about their lives and culture. If I’m ever back in Jaisalmer, I will absolutely book again!

10/10 would recommend The Real Desert Man for your Jaisalmer safari! This company uses local guides from the surrounding villages, and our guide Abhay went above and beyond. We opted for two nights and would recommend to anyone looking for a real camping experience. The extra day gave us time to relax and enjoy the desert.

I did the 2 night Desert safari and had a wonderful time. Our guide Abhay was outstanding, he loved to chat and was very kind. Make sure to bring extra layers for nights because it gets chilly, but the stars are worth it.
