We were picked up at the arranged time in a jeep, perfect for the hot weather we had. The first visit to the home of a village family gave us a wonderful feel for how the family lived from day to day.
Next, a first hand view of a family that is keeping alive a long standing weaving tradition was very special also. Following was to another family home where numerous pottery items could be viewed, as well as being shown how they turn small pots etc on an ancient stone wheel.
All in all, a very informative and eye opening glimpse of how so many village dwellers in India spend their days. Very highly recommended.

The morning passed relatively quickly. Ray was a very good Driver/Guide, very friendly. It was very nice to see how carpet making was done, and pottery (even if already seen several times in Rajasthan). My best time was sharing a meal with the women and children in the kitchen.
After personally I found it a bit expensive as a tour, especially since each time they try to sell us local crafts.

This was a great half day tour. The vehicle & guide were amazing. They gave detailed information of the places visited. We got to see peacocks 🦚 which was a great experience. We also had village food which was hygienic & super tasty. Must fo if u have an additional day in jodhpur..

This tour was AWESOME. We had a young guide called Suryaveer who lives locally and he was able to show us around Bishnoi. So many of the places we saw were special and different from things we have experienced before. It was super fun to watch ceramics being made from scratch and even got to give it a go ourselves. It was overall relaxing as well and we did not feel rushed at all. We ended up at Suryaveer’s family home for a meal which was a highlight. Thank you!!

Our guide, Ray, was full of fascinating facts about the Bishnoi people’s culture and history. Besides that, he was extremely kind too! Because it is a private tour, we never felt rushed and could visit the places he brought us at our own pace.
