I really enjoyed Durgas cooking class a lot. Her calmness, her cooking wisdom and her willingness to share was awesome. The food we prepared together was amazing… I learned so much and enjoyed good company at the same time 🤩

Durga and Mukesh are two amazing hosts, very welcoming and friendly. The cooking class is very well structured and organized so that it is easy to learn and memorize the preparation steps of each dish. In the end the group shared food, a pleasant conversation and a very pleasant moment. I 100% recommend this activity in Udaipur to know a little more about the typical food of India and Rajasthan and at the same time meet new people.

I felt immediately at ease and as a solo traveler and customer, that was the most inportant to me. Durga is patient, funny and detailed and gave me confidence that I could repeat and cook on my own back home! You chop, grind, flip, you do everything under her watchful eye. We made several veg dishes and we ate together for the first dish, then I was given privacy to eat the rest, so best of both worlds! I highly recommend this cooking class for solo and groups, of ALL ages (even kids) for a wonderful immersion experience in India!
Few details: She lives within the city in a lively pedestrian area on the top floor, a wonderful rooftop view/exterior patio. A thorough 17 pg cookbook and spice packet is shared after the 2-3 hr class. Come hungry and leave fulfilled, tummy and soul! Namaste

What a great experience learning how to Cook Pakora, Mutter Panner , Dhal, rice and 3 types of chapati. Everything was made fresh from
Scratch and we learnt a lot about Indian spices.
The whole family was so lovely and communication up to the day was informative and prompt.
We received an online recipe book and look forward to trying out the recipes at home.
I highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Udaipur.

This experience was the absolute highlight of my visit to Udaipur. Mother and daughter patiently walk you through key Indian dishes—and the best part is the meal after! Whether it’s poha, chapati, aloo mutter, or any other meal, they will teach you how to cook it.
This isn’t just a class. They make you feel at home, like you’re a part of the family. Take this class—you won’t regret it!

Durga is truly a passionate cooker and teacher. We had fun together and learned so much during a few evening hours! She even showed her skills as a henna artist.

I had an amazing experience learning to cook traditional Indian dishes.
