Hinduism to its spectacular level
it is a challenge to go there, I mean to arrive, the traffic and the crowd are without equal
then, it is a challenge to be in the boat, to be part of the boats platform, then to see the procession and to hope your boat will manage somehow not to be crashed by that boat crowd
and then, the same crowd and traffic, to escape :)
of course, we met a cow, with no traffic or crowd problems

Sonu is a great guide. He arranged an evening boat ride and city walk tour for us. The next day he booked a driver who took us to visit Sarnath and later to the airport. Great knowledge and understandable English accent :) I recommend Varanasi sightseeing with him.

Zwei Tage hat uns unser Guide Mukund Varanasi und seine Sehenswürdigkeiten sowie Sarnath nahe gebracht.
Unique experiences macht seinem Namen wirklich alle Ehre, denn zusätzlich zu dem, was man in Reiseführern lesen kann, bekamen wir tiefe Einblicke in die indische Gesellschaft und den Hinduismus.
Vieles, das uns auf den ersten Blick unverständlich erschien, sehen wir nun mit anderen Augen.
Eine ganz großartige Erfahrung, unbedingt zu empfehlen!

Herr MukundLal unser Guide hat uns seine Heimat mit all seinen Facetten gezeigt, ob mit dem Boot am Ganges ,zu Fuß durch Stadt oder mit der Rickscha durch die überfüllten Straßen.Für mich war es ein einzigartiges Erlebnis,Ich kann Herrn Mukund Lal als Reiseleiter nur bestens weiter empfehlen,

Erste Reise Oktober 2016. Mukund ist ein sehr gebildeter und umsichtiger Guide. In den überaus engen Gassen von Varanasi führte er uns auch zu Vishvanath, Sarnath etc. Seine Informationen sind durch sein gutes Deutsch für uns einfach und gut zu verstehen. Man kann ihn wirklich alles zur indischen Kultur, zum Alltag, dem Kastensystem, Rituale, Religion etc. fragen und er erklärt verständlich und in eindrücklicher Weise. Er geht auf Wünsche seiner Gäste ein. Er pflegt ein freundschaftliches Verhältnis, das uns sehr gefallen hat. Darum haben wir ihn ein zweites Mal kontaktiert und ihn mit Freude auf ein Wiedersehen für November 2019 gebucht. Mukund führte uns wiederum sehr professionell. Es war eine fantastisch, authentisch und eine super Auffrischung von incredible India. Mukund ist sehr zu empfehlen! Er ist top.

Mukund is simply the best guide you can have in Varanasi, with excellent German skills, very friendly spirit and lot of knowledge about culture and the city of Varanasi
